Part of me always thought this was the endgame, but even I didn't believe it. Is Fuji really skipping full-frame to compete from above with medium format?... Turns out that yes that was true and time, tech, and the current camera market are perfect for it. This is my new ultimate goal camera.

Keep innovating Fujifilm! We are now entering the revolution of relatively affordable medium format camera. Other than the full frame Sony A1, this is the camera I would dream to test and have. I think Fujifilm is moving in the right direction. I have their XT3 and I think they can dominate the APSC and medium format world. Thanks, Fujifilm.

Another great film by Dr. Jonas Rask and Palle Schultz. I loved their Iceland and Copenhagen films, and this is another step forward. Palle Schulte’s wonderful music and videography (really cinematography) coupled with Jonas Rask’s stills and narration are just fantastic. This is a visual and auditory feast, to be savored time and again. Bravo!

in a "non-groder" type of way, this is film is like "camera porn" for FUJI LOVERS. the images are unbelievable, love the narrative and the music is deep. Palle Schultz is seriously one talented dude. and well, we all know about Jonas Rask. Huge praise! This is “next level.”

Very nice production.
I liked how you used the reflections in the glasses of your subject. You don't need such high pixel density for these pictures but you do need good low noise, high ISO images. This is an endorsement of the XT4 used for the video, as well as the GFX 100S.
I know it's about the image but damn, that music and guitarplaying is good. :-) And crisp nice images.

I only wish they’d added the interchangeable EVF/OVF of the GFX 50s to give us more choice.

Well, I have watched this a few times. Normally I watch a minute of a camera slot and move on. I’ve seen this three times now all the way through. Very entertaining. Beautifully shot. Colour in both stills and video superior than other GTX100s launch promos. Sometimes music can be annoying for this sort of thing. But the guitar riff at the end really worked. I don’t know what you have done with the colour for this demo but other GFX100s expose appears stiff and too architectural-fine-art-cold looking.

Fujifilm, before releasing new cameras you may want to offer an option to control the aggressive chroma noise reduction active in all x-series cameras even at base ISO.

Fujifilm I might not own a medium format camera or even a Fujifilm camera. But I have nothing by respect for the love of stills. Looking at my A6500 hoping it one day changes to a tx-4. Keep it up.
