God Danny and Suzy have such great chemistry. Suzy’s vulnerability and Dan’s acceptance/ raw curiosity makes this so much better
I always liked Suzy. And im saddened to hear about her abusive relationship. And I have a new found respect for Arin. He tries and goes through so much but he made a life for all of them.

Suzy has always been a side character for me. I would see her occasionally in sketches and commercials but she was never as fleshed out as I saw her now. She seems to be a very intelligent and down to earth girl. Congratulations Arin ;)

People who dislike her annoy me. People say she's not funny but not everyone has to be funny. I think Suzy does a lot of PR and business type stuff. And that's a good thing.
Julian Ramirez She tries to see the best in everyone. I know several people who can look at a seemingly horrible person and see something in them that others can't. That's why she said that she believes no one is a slut. Everyone has their own agendas and reasons for acting in certain ways, so be it. While I do not entirely agree with her beliefs, I can see where she is coming from. As for the two-men thing, she was not with Arin at the time (so she wasn't cheating on him) and her boyfriend at the time was abusive towards her. Arin was a good friend of hers who she started to have even greater feelings towards from his dedication in sending her letters every damn day for a year. If that doesn't scream 'I love you', then I don't know what does. Having been in a abusive relationship myself, I can assume that those letters were probably like a lifeline to her. They made her feel hopeful. It validated that someone cared for her and needed her, and gave her strength to pull through her tough times and finally escape from her torment. She kept them because they were proof that she could stand up to her abuser and refuse to be the victim any more. She may not be perfect, but no one is, and having suffered similarly in a horrible relationship, I respect her for how far she's come and how she was able to overcome her worst experiences. Hopefully you can understand. Thanks for listening.

This resonated so hard with me. All of the grumps inspire me a lot, but Suzy is just a real gem. Her relationship with Arin is something for the books, and Suzy individually is such a strong person. She's gotten so much shit over the years in the Game grumps community but despite it she still kicks ass and does what she wants 💕✨

I've always thought that Arin (and Suzy too) get a lot of undeserved shit from people. I mean, it shows the kind of person Arin is that, after hearing Suzy go on about how much she "owes" him for all he's done, I can imagine him genuinely responding with "Dude, you don't me shit." And I don't even know the guy.
Much love to Arin and everyone for bringing so much fun and silliness. And especially to Suzy here, for being so cool and real. I've always enjoyed her as a personality, but I have even more respect for her now hearing a bit about her past. Not to mention the issues with being "content with yourself," which I relate to so much and am only now slowly feeling better about who I am as a person. Thank you for being so great.

I like this combo, always felt like Danny and Suzy had great chemistry. I think this interview could have been awkward with the wrong choice.

This was really nice. Suzy was the one I know the least about and it's nice to know what her life was like. Also her relationship with Arin sounded so adorable
25:11 I really resonate with this. I was stuck in a horribly abusive relationship for over a year and no one even knew. I felt absolutely stuck. I literally thought I was doomed to be miserable with this kid for life. But through therapy and supportive friends I got through it. And it was the best learning experience and I am so amazingly happy now. Thats a beautiful thing about life.

I am loving these podcasts. They're so motivational and shows what the grumps have gone through. It makes me excited for what my life has in store
I like this interview, but Danny seems to dominate the conversation; it would've been good for him to ease off a lot and let Suzy do more of the talking. He kinda did the same with the valentine's day podcast bit with Kevin.

Dan Scannell I just think it's an energy problem. Danny just has so much energy he can bounce off of anything, while Suzy is more calm and can have her moments. She can be funny and cool, but Danny is a comedian, an actor. H mean, he fucking sings in a unitard and a cape. They're both just extravagant in their own ways. I like Suzy's dark style and her view on life, so they both have something going for them.

OK, you guys listen to every other interview and tell me Dan wasn't overpowering compared to the others.
The others knew how to simply ask a question, then really take a backseat until it was clear the interviewee had basically spoken their piece, and THEN added a thought of their own.
Dan often interrupted or interjected and kind of spoke over her. I don't believe he was doing it intentionally. But he clearly still did it. And I don't buy the bullshit that "oh, Suzy's just quiet, she doesn't talk much, she has low energy".

Thank you for this video. I'm going through a rough time now with someone I hold really dear to me and just hearing the stories about you two made me gain a sense of hope. I'll still be by her side as a friend and whenever she wants to and when she is ready as something more. But for now I don't believe in anything, this is the first time where I'll use the saying "I pray for you to recover" as a means to truly say how I feel. Thank you for sharing this, it makes me look towards a brighter day

This was really nice! Suzy, I had no idea you had been in an abusive relationship, I'm so glad you and Arin are happy together and that you're happy with how life is right now! I'm also a huge believer in therapy, I go to it myself for ADHD, and without a psychiatrist I would have never been diagnosed with OCD which was really fucking me up last year. As someone with ADHD I somewhat understand mood shifts, I don't get full on mood swings, but I'm glad you're on medication that's helping you and I'm so happy that you have such loving friends that support you. I don't quite agree with that last statement, about everyone being a good person, I think some people just flat-out suck (I've met some really shitty people in my life) but I get what you mean. You're pretty inspirational yourself, dear! Keep chugging!
As a person who's been going through shit, can I just say I really appreciate these interviews and getting to know the Grumps behind the scenes. It's really therapeutic! Thanks, guys.
There's a program on BBC Radio 4, over here, called "Chain Reaction", it's about one person interviews another and then that interviewee interviews another and then that... you get the idea.

Man these are really helping me. I'm 19 and I'm struggling financially and with my job and with what I want to do with life but hearing your stories and trials that you've gone through are helping me see that life starts out real shitty but things get better. Suzy your story of you and Arin really touches me, been dating my significant other for 3-4 years now. known each other sense 8th grade. same age difference and we are struggling rn. I dropped out of highschool working dead end jobs, and yall and all the other grumps inspire me. Making me want more from life, and to have genuine aspirations. Hardships have endings, and i can totally get out of my funk and pursue what I love.
