I called the EMTs for my first panic attack too because I thought I was having a heart attack or something. Mine was... 2016, I had driven 8 hours in a blizzard to get home in time for thanksgiving. Then on thanksgiving, it hadn’t let up, so we went to the ER in the middle of the family dinner. Only for the doctor to tell us after five minutes of us taking to him that it was a panic attack. It’s so weird how the first time feels like... a 100 times worse of an ailment than it actually is.

There was a time when I felt like I was having a heart attack and went to the ER. After a scan and like 4 hours, they told me I had Costochondritis (swelling in the cartilage around my ribs) and it was most likely brought on by emotional stress and the panic attacks I have sometimes...so that's a thing that happened. Scary shit.

After a scan and like 4 hours, they told me I had Costochondritis (swelling in the cartilage around my ribs) and it was most likely brought on by emotional stress and the panic attacks I have sometimes...so that's a thing that happened. Scary shit.
