By far the best idea about this game is the ability to watch replays of other player's deaths on the base you built, like an instant dopamine feedback
I always get super excited watching people play my outposts.
Plus it shows the holes in your defense, dno how many times ppl zipline in ways i didnt think about but…. It will be fixed, bwhaahah
Yeah it's a great feature. It's also cool when you raid a base of a streamer and see them watch & react your replay on stream. I raided a brutal base of a streamer who was live, checked out their stream and while lurking I watched them find & watch my 46 minute 86~ death replay (was the 4th base I raided, and first brutal one, so was still getting the hang of the mechanics) in its entirety at 1x speed.
The biggest issue I see for this game is having enough of a playerbase long enough to keep it from being a "Welp no one plays this really and the few that do only play or see the bases that have been around longer, so guess I'll just never make a base again" situation.
A game about causing fear, paranoia, pain frustration and death, by building things. This is a perfect kibz game.

I was just looking at some of your old videos about 5 years ago and found out that you did a huge channel shift to other stuff than MC, just wanted to remind you that you made a damn good decision to branch out♡

Looks like most people are cautious, doing the atutter step thing to see g take out the traps, outside of the prize room. So to counter that you can make them have to drop down into a room/hall they can't see, so they have to rely on reflexes/replays. Then make a 2nd exit path from the prize room that drops down to the main entrance/exit hall, possibly with more traps.
only problem with an idea like that is that there is no direct path the little guy can take sadly.

I"ve been having a blast with this during Next Fest. I had one poor raider die 5 times and quit without ever reaching the end. Good times
You want one final second-wave trap on the way out, nearer the end. People are feeling all safe and suddenly BAM. Maybe alternate first wave and second wave. Also, more lava.
Love this, and if I get it I might just end up making some truly devious if simple setups. That final room, for instance, could do well with a spiked floor, or another arrow trap facing the one which is meant to catch them out, forcing them to focus one down. With only two bolts, there's a limit to how much you can deal with at once. Claustrophobia induction and psychological warfare will be major parts, with false pitfalls and tight, twisting corridors. Some of these outposts could just be straight-up mazes, with death for endpoints.. can you set distance for arrow triggers, I wonder?
I really want to see more of this now.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I HAVE to get this. This is like my dream game. I remember a game that came out a LOOOOOOOOONG time ago. "The mighty quest for epic loot" I never played it but I remember it being BASICALLY THIS! according to what I heard. But this seems a lot better and less well ... scammy. I'd love to see variations on this where you have multiple things to grab like treasure, special jewels etc etc.
you can have lava cubes be put in 4 corners above the genmat, have them activate at 2nd wave, then have a guard, for example warmonger, with dead man's switch, path them to walk into the lava cubes, and when they grab gen mat, the guards will drop down like living bombs (despite actually dying once they touch lava cubes, and then activate the bombs) i had a duo grab my gen mat, then went into a corner hoping they were safe, alas, suicide guards falling from the ceilings :3 !
Time to channel some Iron Warriors skills.

Not sure if you are seeing this but you actually raided my base today. i´m like what is the chance that the game i´m starting to play, because i watched this guys video on this game is raiding my base 2 days later. I saw your name popup and thought "Nah thats not him surely." but you are actually casting in the replay so looking forward to maybe seeing my base in your next vod ^^.

Reminds me of ubi's Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. Which they shutdown because they seriously suck at interacting with their player base and they just couldn't balance it. You had the meta strat, cheese strat, and meta cheese. I liked that game, I like this game, it will suffer the same fate.

Oh I heard about this thing.
I'm loving this game. Been subbed to your channel for a while (on my main YT account) and just randomly came across & beat your Conifer base Kibitz, it was a super fun normal base that was surprisingly tough where I died 36 times in 16 minutes haha.
this game is lovly for you, because its got EVERYTHING you could ever wish for to deal with people. only the most carful can try to get ya loot.
