@@Jarls It's not spam at all, ironically enough. Despite all the traps in the piston room, the only time you actually have to deal with more than one threat at once is when killing a guard and the flamer in front of it in quick succession. There was a dungeon I played that had a few traps and guards. The first big room freaked me out cause the enforcers were elevated and there was two big guys, but the genmat room was hell. Ten fucking big, armored guys falling from the fucking ceiling, and the way out was a tiny as hell, claustrophobic hallway. XD

The extra equipment really helps in this game, especially grenades for clusters of traps, people need to use everything given too them. It’s much harder just using only gun and sword
I see this build is getting popular. I saw a copy before I found the original level! Heres some tips: If you have the basic Fury's edge, you can just slash through all the pistons and get through easily. The next part is the hardest because you need to be FAST! Quickly aim to the flames to the side, then knock out the arrows. Hopefully you have time to grenade the three Warmongers. The rest of the level is just about being slow and steady. Then just get ready to grapple onto the exit when you grab the GenMat, and RUN out. There you go!
This is a killbox design. And it's the kind of stuff that actually discourages players from playing in the first place. It's also the kind of bad design that will go away, as soon as the devlopers implement a rule that forces base builders to beat their own maps, before putting them online.
The replays are content for days. Too bad the replays get that red boarder when you fast forward from a death. But please keep putting more replays up. Only a few days left to stack content before the demo closes till April.
I just found a base with the exact replica of your first section, except no flamethrowers. I only died once and avoided the enemies and kind of just ran through the crushers, then destroyed them on my way back.
My friend actually streamed a level to me on discord that he found really hard and could not get through while i was still downloading the game. Apparently it was this base and i just sent him this video waiting for his reaction. I hope i can find this base to try it out aswell.

The game this reminds me of is hotline Miami. At first on an outpost you don't know where the traps are or the guards or the optimal strat. After a lot of deaths, you learn the best way to go through the level, when to risk your bolts, where is safe and where is not, until eventually you get through to the end and have to go all the way back with maybe even more traps with the vial. I love how if you make a base, you get the recordings. Really good innovative game imo.
One of my friends played a level that was very clearly inspired by this room today, and yeah, he spent like an hour just dying in the main room. The base wasnt the exact same, but this type of room is still extremely lethal, even by today’s standards. My friend was level 44 i think, too. So he’s got considerable progress in the game and still had a hell of a time. A real testament to Kibz Masterwork.
Wonder how the finished version of this game will look like, devs will probably do some balancing to avoid unwinnable bases cropping up everywhere. I can see them increasing the cost of certain traps ect.
Alot of kill boxes have their walls only one block thick. If you upgrade the magnetic range on your suit, you can get your ammo back through the wall on the outside, where it’s safe!
If the three big dudes are spaced out more it might be possible for them not to die from only one grenade as a group. If you add a big dude in the room of the core to block hi from grabbing towards the exit might also make it harder as you pause for second to kill it but as not one hit kill is easier said than done.
I just raided this with a plasmabow and a Volt Lancer, and I found it quite easy. I recommend you change the traps in the GenMat room to arrows that curve to really cause some pain
