  • 🇵🇱 Pałac w Lubieniu Wielkim
    🇺🇦 Палац у Любені Великому
    Construction period: 18th century.
    Founder: Unknown
    Historical note:
Palace in Lubien Wielki (Velykyi Liubin, currently in Ukraine) in the French Baroque style surrounded by a large park, it was a modern residence in its heyday and was probably built in the 18th century, when it belonged to a Polish nobleman Stefan Humiecki.
At that time, settlement belonged to Stefan Humiecki, and after him to the Swidzinski family. It is assumed that the palace was built or deeply reconstructed by Humiecki. In the years 1909-1910, Adolf Maurycy Brunicki rebuilt the residence.
The palace is a one-storey building set on high basements, which from the garden side create an additional storey.
The “PL-UA. History by drone” project consists of 100 short film productions depicting architectural monuments that were created in the period of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The series of short documentary films were screened in Ukraine. A Polish-Ukrainian team consisting of historians, journalists, writers, non-governmental organisations and youth joined forces to create the films.
