That dinner looks soooo good! your breath appears in the humid air, because it's 60% humidity, and your breath added even more humidity to it. So it's vaporizing. Now you just need to bring along a geologist for all the cool rocks you see! Beautiful campsite. Also, the toasted marshmallow rocks.
Thanks! I could definitely use a geologist when I’m out there! 😊 I love rocks. Thanks so much for the great information, for commenting and for watching my video. Cheers.
As winter conditions are settling in I am happy to see this reminder of the season of the canoe. At 75 I never know if I'll be well enough for next seasons tenting. Last spring a knee problem shut me down until late July. But now I'm very active hiking the lakeside ridges far enough away from the noise of machines to hear the birds. Best wishes.
Hey paavo! The strip was just over a month ago. It’s not that far away. We only got snow this weekend for the first time in Muskoka . But mother nature certainly did make up for being late. It’s always good to hear from you. I’m so glad you enjoyed my videos and I will continue to make them and hope to hear from you. Cheers.
Christina is good to see and hear from you haven't seen your videos in years I was watching some old ones when you made them homemade tents I'm american and love the cold there's nothing more relaxing than going hot tenting in the cold
I’ve been publishing a video every single week for over six years. You got a lot to catch up on. It’s great to hear from you! Happy turkey day. I have a playlist called winter camping, which might interest you if you’re looking for those types of videos. Hope to hear from you again soon! Cheers
It was so nice to see Ruth Roy Lake and I'm happy you had those great conditions to enjoy it in. Brings me back to the couple of times we stayed on that Lake, the Portage was tricky but worth it I think the first time we stayed there we had a massive thunderstorm hit us just as we we were paddling to our site.
I am too. Thank you so much for your kind words and for commenting and checking out my video. Thank you also for sharing your experiences with me and also for your comment regarding tying up the canoe in another thread here. Have an amazing day! Cheers ! 😊
Your video was very crisp. I heard your phone took a swim. That's frustrating, but these images are very sharp. Looked like a beautiful weekend to get out enjoy the water.
Love your video. You're lucky it was so warm out. I had 0C before Thanksgiving weekend! As for seeing your breath, your breath is warmer than the surrounding air. This causes the water vapour in your breath to condense into tiny water droplets.
I had a pair of barred owls making out in the tree next to my tent last month (Restoule backcountry). There were some satisfying hoots following. Music to sleep by 😅
They Sky was so blue and the sun so bright... if it wasn't for the fall colours in the trees I would have thought it was a summer day. I might ask why you didn't go swimming! 🤣 Lo vely October!
The end of it where the portage is is known for having really blue water, but I didn’t stop and look on the way in, and it was too early on the way out to really appreciate it. But I really didn’t think it needed any extra beauty. It was a lovely spot. Killarney really is stunning. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Cheers.
Good meals , pretty lake , awesome views nice fire , When you can see your breath, Your breath is moist, the air is cool your breath i believe changes to vapor then droplets of water like fog. ( I think) .Think is something to do with humidity when its not too cold. its been a while lol. I like your lights I've used light but not like those I find them comforting . this was so relaxing to watch
I thought you got the comet too in that pic - still great night photos with the 15 ! Seeing your breath - depends on the humidity as well as temperature - see it at higher temps if it is more humid !
