Let's say it how it is, the capital has a drug problem not a homelessness problem yes many families are homeless and are being put up in hotels etc and that's not ok but the vast overwhelming majority of people on the streets in Dublin city centre are on hard drugs that is the reality you could give them a house tomorrow and they would not be able to keep it I'm tired of people keep saying all the homeless people in Dublin city centre and avoiding the fact that their drug addicts these people need to be clean off drugs before they're given a house let's get real

do you know how many people are brought up in the same circumstances as that lady and do not turn to the drugs and still make very good lives for themselves. the fact that she had a bad upbringing is no excuse for being a drug addict. taking drugs IS A CHOICE .and using that excuse is a huge kick in the face to the rest of us whose reality was the hell that you talked about and we made a conscious decision to do the opposite to what we seen growing up.. are city is destroyed with drug addiction and it's getting worse by the day. Stumbled on this video by pure chance and didn't expect to see someone I've known almost all my life. I went to primary school in Loughshinny with Tiffany and she would often enough be in Rush where I lived when we were teenagers. You have to wonder why there are such problems with drug addiction in Ireland, Scotland (which has the drug death capital of Europe), but also in the US and so on. A photograph comes to mind from way back, of George Bush by a plane that is delivering illegal drugs to the US, but all made possible by the c-i-a and Bush himself. You have to wonder how much is the individual's choice, and how much is state supported, and internationally orchestrated. All roads usually lead back to some part of the c4b4l. If only we could drain our swamps.
