It's sad that Mark Chesnutt will not get the recognition that he deserves until he passes away. Then he will be recognized as a music icon on the same level as Hank Williams and Elvis even though Chesnutt's voice is more versatile than either of those two.
He was another one that got caught in a time when the big 4 was coming out the gate and got the songs but never really was appreciated for his flat out country music singing

This clip was from Austin City Limits in 1995 MrEdpartar. It was an awesome show. Mark Chestnutt did half the show and Tracy Byrd did the other half.
