Eric shakes his head and says you give your stuff away Dan haha !! It's great to finally see some new stuff from Bosch. Bosch seems to take their time to really nail the research and design of their products, definitely my favorite tool manufacturer. I'll take that over tiny little improvements every year or so just to have something "new" on the market.

It's the best when Dan says something and Eric contradicts it lol. These guys are hilarious! The tool looks pretty sweet too, way to grab the handle on the market Bosch!

That's a tool I want in the arsenal no question, most likely wouldn't use it that much but it's one of those tools that are great to have when you need it. Nice tool Bosch.

If you can imagine the pain of cutting steel studs, or any kind of metal, it's very easy to appreciate how easy this would make any job.

I like this saw I have the regular circular saw from Bosch and it hasn't failed me day in and day out it powers through everything. Don't cut through a ton of metal but this would still be a nice addition.

Dang i need to get me one of these, I'm tired of using my slow bandsaw, and it even looks like the cuts are pretty smooth, thanks guys videos are excellent already this year can't wait to see what you got for us the rest of the year!

That looks like a nice saw for metal. I am really liking the Bosch line. I have been torn between Bosch and Milwaukee for my 18V Drill/Impact purchase.

Wow! This is a great little too. This sounds dumb, but I've never really thought of a circular saw as a metal cutting machine but man, this thing works great! Nice job Bosch.

Finally! I allready have their CCS180BL which is awesome. I was thinking to put a carbide blade on it in order tu cut through the nails and studs, but this new one looks way better for the job. At 5.8 punds it's capacity is 2" and look how small it is! Need one.

that's saw looks like it kicks ass! Right now I run an evolution metal devil and its very big and bulky. But its got the power to cut stainless. I would have liked to seen the Bosch cut some stainless. As always love the videos! Keep it up.

Funny how he fumbled taking the battery off, right after he said "the battery is easy to come off" lol. Still, I love Bosch, they make some high quality tools and this saw doesn't dissapoint. Would love to see a tool fight between this and the Milwaukee

Not doing anything I couldn't do already, but definitely appears to add ease to many things I would do with a recip saw or a grinder.... I like that it has a hook that isn't just two 90 degree bends if I wanted to hang it on my tool belt for a moment that wouldn't be an issue

Diggin' the new intro. Looks like a handy tool to have around for metal work. I wonder how it handles sheet and plate. I was figuring 200+ for contractor grade. But at 170'ish that's pretty decent. I imagine the blades won't be cheap.

I like it! And at a good price point I think. Looks like it throws less sparks than a grinder and straighter than a bandsaw. I am partial to a bandsaw but when cutting metal that is attached at either end you can find yourself stuck trying to get you blade back.

  • @kevinward9003

Thats awesome, I have makitas right now, but i'm looking to get into a new brand, DeWalt or Bosch, and this really sparked interest for me. Ive always cut metal with a sawzall but this would be much easier to use and safer as well.

  • @DarkRaptor99

We could do a comparison test which cuts better with a Bosch metal saw the aluminum or steel F-150 :) It sounds like this saw isn't brushless then it would have been nice if bosh released it with a brushless motor. I think Milwaukee will probably release a Fuel metal cutting saw this year.

That little saw cut amazingly fast! I usually break out the 14" abrasive chop saw for metal cutting but the piece gets crazy hot and I still have to de burr it. Luckily for my wallet I don't do a lot of metal work. Nice tool though! I'd love to see it up against a Milwaukee Fuel version (Assuming they release one). Which one can get across the hood of an F-150 the fastest!

The Makita BCS550 was one of the reasons I initially chose to invest in the Makita ecosystem. The Bosch has higher RPM, probably a smoother cut. Are the blades 136mm?

Now this I can get behind! Looks like a really nice saw. Would have loved to see this in a brushless model, but at $179 it's a steal as is. What do you think the odds are of Bosch offering this saw in the future with magnesium guards? Hate to pull the trigger on one just to see them offer a more durable model later.
