I know this saw has been released in Australia for a while Just didn't see much review.
See the result of cutting nice and clean very like professional cutting. It's better than grinder results for sure. Great review. Just got bosch 18v barrel jigsaw recently after saw your review. Quite like it. Thank you.
[Dwain] thanks man, yeah it's not new. But we were excited to review it.
*Works great **MyBest.Tools** . Little lacking in power. You just have to cut a little slower. Compare to Rockwell pretty similar experience but cheaper price tag for this one. Love the lightest. Cuts accurately too.*
On point! Another very detailed review Dwain 👍
[Dwain] cheers James!
wow easy, fast and powerful, thanks for the video
would love to see a cold cut shootout, specifically against colourbond!
Been using the Makita version for over a year. All the flavours are no doubt good. Highly recommend getting a blade with as much teeth as you can afford and treat it like gold. Expensive hobby buying good blades for these buggers.
[Dwain] excellent advice!
Great review, but why is this cutter so hard to get hold of in the uk ??? Any ideas anyone
Hey Dwain, very nice review mate!
When are you guys receiving the new Eneracer 6.3 Ah battery from Bosch?
Have a great weekend guys
[Dwain] hey Ben. we won't 'review' the battery, but we'll use it and comment on it as soon as its available in Aus :)
Any tool battle with this should include the panasonic, it's been around for years. Would be interesting to see how these all stack up
yeah that's not a likely comparison sorry Mike.
Great thrashing this beast. Any ideas to make a shootout in this category with all the brands?
With metal cutting there is a lot of difference to be had by manufacturers depending on the motor they choose in their units and selecting a favoured rpm of the tool. As well as the quality of blade they are prepared to include in the box.
Cheers!
[Dwain] cheers Ryan. No chance of a comparison though sorry ;)
Oz Tool Talk fair enough this tool probably isnt popular enough yet anyway :)
what about a plasterer doing metal framing i see a lot of them using cored Metal Cut-Off Saw's could be a good middle ground definitely more convenient to get around site with would just need a little clamping jig
[Dwain] yeah these would be awesome for cutting metal studs and the like.
Nice tool but for the little work i do on metal the grinder will do. Keep up the great video's.🖒
[Dwain] yep that's probably true for many people.
What tool shops in Australia sell these?
Are considering tool fight between Hilti Milwaukee & Bosch? Idk if Dewalt & Metabo has this in their line, would be better with their participation
[Dwain] hey mate. Nah, no tool fight for metal saws. Bit too niche for the effort of a review...
The dewalt is by far the most powerful of the metal saws I've tried makita, milwaukee both brushed and brushless and this saw
[Dwain] really?! I'll have to try it. I don't suppose you've tried the Hilti though?
How about roofing sheet metal coro ?
[Dwain] yep really good for coro, as long as the sheets are fixed (not able to move around). One sheet is easy, cutting stacked sheets doesn't work well.
can you use a circular saw but just with a diffrent blade or something to cutt metal ,
Mitchell Clark maybe but blade size is very different and I think speed as well. Probably not practical or advisable.
[Dwain] I've seen guys do it, and it works. But yeah I suppose these brands make 'metal saws' for a reason.
Is this still available in 2020 including blades replacements for this?
I would definitely think so! [Dwain]
The thumbnail background is too white. It so perfectly matches the UA-cam background that I was not sure if it was a thumbnail... Strange problem to have.
Can u use it on wood ??or is required wood blade ?cheers
it will cut wood in a pinch, but it doesn't do it well. not a replacement for regular circular saw.
No problem putting a wood blade in this machine?
the blades on the Hilti scm metal circ saw last a lot longer than the bosch, ask any bricky who has one
[Dwain] good feedback. Wonder what the cost difference is.
It's almost as good as a grinder
[Dwain] it can't do everything a grinder can do, but it can do some things a LOT better.

300$$ ??!!! Buy a makita cheaper and betta
