I should probably stop trying to learn this song seen as though I only started to play the guitar a week ago.
Update: It's been about a month now, I practiced a small part of this every day and I can finally play it! Never give up hope

I remember a couple weeks ago this seemed so hard to learn, and I thought I would never learn it, so I just skipped it. Now I come back and it's actually not that hard. I've been binge watching your videos, and I can see that I'm actually making progress. Thank you for being an amazing teacher.

I love this song so much. I've been playing for like 35 years, since i was a kid. I learned all the Metal stuff and shredding etc.
With kids and all that, the electric guitars got forgotten and neglected over the years.
Now, My acoustic is getting some love as I settle into my 40s, more convenient to just pick up and bring to the park or patio to jam. I realize now how much i was missing knowledge wise, i know your basic chords etc as far as the camp fire sing a longs go.
I discovered your channel as I'm honning in and retraining my skills, now directed to all these classics. Thanks for all the inspiration. 🤘🏻

I wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you so much for all your help. I am so glad I discovered all your lessons on UA-cam. I am an old guy, but for many years I was into music, and I studied saxophone and piano and theory throughout university. I played in several rock bands, and so I was always around guitars and I always wanted one. I guess I am having a mid-life crisis because I went ahead and bought an electric guitar and amp. I am renting until I find a guitar that I like. Right now I am playing an Epiphone Les Paul 1960 Tribute Plus through a Vox Mini 5 rhythm. Your lessons are so great and I can follow your teaching very easily. Without you, I might have given up on guitar but now I am learning a lot and very quickly. I plan to enroll in private lessons (they offer them where I got the guitar) once I have some of the basic stuff down. Thanks for the lessons: I look forward to them daily. I'm not kidding when I say you've changed my life. Next month I'm going to try a Gibson Firebird, a little more expensive than the Epiphone but I played one in the store for a little while and loved it. I also want to try an SG. What's crazy to me is I always watched your videos when I was still considering guitar and I said man that too hard for me. (I was a uke player) I couldn't comprehend playing 6 strings. After playing the guitar for some less than a year I came back to your channel (because I was focusing on flamenco with nylon guitar.) Your videos have come with ease like how I watched uke tutorials. I think the best part of your videos is you don't just take the parts like the sitar and isolate them but add them with the chord strumming and making it like a one-man band I love that.

Marty, thanks for the many vids both in your new channel and your old one. I'm considering the Taylor 814ce similiar to the one you're playing. It's a hard choice because once you get to that price range there are lots of high end acoustics. Are there any disadvantages that you see in the taylor?
