In highschool I used to get baked and listen to this song. It would bring me to tears then and it still does now. Things were so much simpler. I hope you are all doing well, but if you are finding this song in hard times, know they will pass. Nothing here is permanent, its grip will loosen as time passes. My mom passed away 15 days ago after a long struggle against cancer. This song has been my go to song when i feel sad. Now more than ever. It is so beautiful.

@@Dr_Strangelove702 Spend every single second you can with your mother. If i only have one regret it would be that i didnt spend more time with her. I probably did, actually i did. But even so i would like to have spent some more time with her. I'm glad she never got to experience the pandemic or the war in Europe. That would have crushed her. She was a very thoughtful and loving woman, even though she struggled through the cancer, multiple sclerosis and congestive heart failure she kept thinking of everyone else that might have had it worse in life. She was very strong and never gave up, because she had so much to live for.
This song makes me miss what I never had.

One of the best songs I've heard all my life. It's incredibly calming yet intense at the same time. It causes you to feel open and in touch with your feelings. Definitely a song I would listen to for any occasion.

I am not a religious person but I think this is a beautiful song, not only for Ruby's beautiful voice and the melodic dubstep, but also for the lyrics. This song is the story of Noah and his family waiting for a dove to return to the ark with a sign of land. This song can be taken as the literal story, but it can also be a metaphor for needing the help of other people in your life. "Oh that I had, the wing of a dove, to rest on me" "To fly back with a branch on its beak to rescue me"

My best friend for sixteen years and I used to fall asleep together in her bed listening to chillstep mixes. this track was one of our favorite pieces. it became a symbol, the soundtrack of our friendship.
now, it's been almost 3 years since we "friend broke up". everytime I hear this, I think of all the shit we've been through together, all the fights and the drama, but most of all, I think of the good times we had, our legendary stories and of how good we matched as best friends. sometimes it tears me up because I know it will never be the same again. there's even a big chance that I will never see her once more. or any of the other people who were a big and important part of my life that time. basically everything has changed. growing old is so weird and scary, I miss being a kid.

Dad passed away 2 years ago from a car accident. Every time I listen to this song I cry and pray that my dad's in a better place now. Such a touching song and it breaks my heart knowing it wasn't my dads turn to pass.

I recall walking up broadway in manhattan with this on repeat. after a year of living in some of the worst shelters in the USA, getting my face cut, my head smashed into the floor repeatedly and other injuries today I have a place of my own. This track has the most insane way of putting your mind in a different place. I found this song 6 years ago when I was just getting into this kind of music. I find myself wondering my own mind every time I listen thinking about the good ol days of being a careless teenager and all the wonderful times that came with it. Somehow this song always makes you think of past times and how great things once were, it's so nostalgic to say the least. Evreytime I listen this song becomes more and more apart of my life. I feel this song could tell the story of my life in a way, it's always been there for the good and the bad. I will never forget this song and what it means to me, to keep pushing forward in life and appreciate all the things you have. My all time favorite song. To many more years MT.EDEN thank you for making this beautiful tune that has helped me get through so much in life ill never forget!

It's 2012 After a 12 hour night shift I'd get on the bus home put this track on look out the window watching it pour down with rain as the sun rises in the morning dark to light. This is a masterpiece and soothes the soul! 💕

I was 13 years old when I heard this song. Trying to understand my adolescence, and one of the comments I remember seeing is a man saying he was proud to have his new born child listen to this song. And just that energy he had for his newborn as he passes on his passion on, was just so powerful, it literally gives me chills to this day. Good memories, how the world has changed since.

I discovered this song just after my best friend died In a car crash. I listened to it with his girlfriend that I desperately wanted to help and we had it on repeat... I don't think we stopped crying,... very sad time but it helped us cry so much that we just couldn't shed any more tears so it probably helped with the grievance process
