Finally after five long years. Mt Eden finally releases a recreated version of 'Sierra Leone' featuring vocals from Freshly Ground via Ultra Records. The Sierra Leone EP features the Original Mix, along with three remixes from Ta-Ku, Araabmuzik and Tommy Sunshine & Live City.

This pic of me was at Mt Eden 2008 at the Hawthoren Theater Portland Oregon. 9/26/08 some times I listen to it and a dark sadness overwhelms me, other times i remember being there happy. They sprayed every one in the front with water bottles. I have a video of looking around everyone enjoyed it.

Cuz back in 2008 they distorted the lyrics on purpose so they don't have to get a copyright lawsuit on them for using it as a sample. Later in 2012 they got enough money to buy the right to use the sample and made the song how they really intentionally wanted to in the first place, which is this version. More clean and clear base compared to the original song which has low quality baselines and the wubwub is pretty terrible in sound quality.

me and my mate used to thrash dubstep in year 9-11 back in 2009 onwards. Going camping with friends getting drunk in the summer listening to dubstep. This was probably the happiest time of my life. Will always cherish this nostalgia.

The original version of this song was the first dubstep song I've ever listened too when I was in 4th grade. Now in ninth grade listening to this version makes me smile ear to ear. Didn't change that much but still noticed a difference. I love it

Song reminds me of when i was young, playing MW2 and fascinated by this strange genre, Dubstep. So happy i stumbled onto this song, can't imagine my life without Dubstep..
I met this young dude MtEden in backstage in Latvia. He was overwhelmed by his success, had been producing in his bedroom for few years and had very little prior stage presence. His tune took off, he got caught and carried by the wave of viral dubstep.
7 years later I'd come and like it again if I could.
