I loved this book review! Thank you for giving us an in-depth look into what this book has to offer. I just recently have been drawn to textile art using mixed media and collage techniques. I’m ordering this book after your review. Another book that I love is by Cas Holmes called Stitch Stories. I found that book in my stash last week and it has me obsessed with learning more about textile art. The process is really fun with so many possibilities. Thanks again! 😊
OMG, thank you so much for showing us this book's content! It is for a long time on my list, but since the Amazon preview is not really informative, I have hesitate to buy it. But now that I have seen your preview ... it is such an amazing book and just ordered it! Indeed ... sketchbooks are soooo inspiring ♥
Thanks so much for this detailed review. Just wondering if you showed every page? There are 144 pages and it didn't seem like that many although I didn't count. Not complaining, just wondering. Thanks!
Deborah Davis I have to go back to see again, can’t quite remember. But I do have a textile mixed media art book, I did a review on it, you can find it in the playlist:)
Thanks so much for this review! I was considering buying this book but wanted to see the inside. Thank you for this flip through and your feedback! I'm gonna get it. :)
What a beautiful book!! Thank you for the flip-through. I have had this in my Amazon cart for a long, long time but was hesitant to purchase it because, as you noted, the preview was so short I didn't really know what to expect. I love the color schemes too! I'm looking forward to seeing some of your cottage sketches this year, and would love to learn how to make a zine if you ever feel like doing a tutorial on that. 😊
I jumped up and got my book and looked at it yet again with you. It's a really fun book full of inspiration and a joy to own.
Her fragmentation and repair book is just as beautiful
