Gordon visits Fleming, a Danish restaurant in Miami, Florida. It was once the best family-run restaurant in town, but now the place is on its last legs. Fleming was bought by husband and wife team Andy and Suzanne eight years ago, in the hope of continuing the restaurant's past success, but with no clue about Danish cuisine it's no real surprise the place is losing money. Can Gordon save their bacon?
Season 3, Episode 9
Gordon visits Anna Vincenzo's, an Italian restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida. Owner CeCe opened up the restaurant with the help of her father in 2001. Things were going well up until two years ago when the business started to slow down and CeCe is puzzled about what went wrong. Gordon tries to rescue the failing business but is shocked to discover CeCe has lost her way in the kitchen.

Despite the high note at the end of the episode, Anna Vincenzo’s closed in April 2010, one month after the episode aired.
Remember, the episode was actually filmed in July 2009, so the closure actually happened around nine months after Gordon’s visit.Right now, Cece is in debt about $190,000 to her father. She stays up at night thinking how she can get him his money. One time, they only had five tables attend the entire night.

Gotta say the Frikadelles looked okay, but that red cabbage looked absolutely on point, I definitely think it’s a shame they moved a bit more away from that, as we have a lot of tasty food

My elderly aunt and uncle lived in Florida. Funny - they bought this bungalow in the early 70s when everything else on the Ft. Lauderdale beach was modest bungalows. By the time I visited them in the 90s, it was all mansions ownes by the rich and rich stars. Anyway - they had a routine on which restaurants to go with all the rest of the old people. There would be a mob of bluehairs. It was like eating in old folks homes. They love buffets. But yeah - that's Florida restaurants!!

"My father gave me three hundred thousand dollars".... yup. That explains why she is like she is. She ends up in debt ffs. Idiots like this would have been better off investing that money in gold or whiskey casks etc. and just working the job they're qualified for. Sure the return wouldn't be amazing, but at least they wouldn't have absolutely pissed it down the drain and got a shedload more debt.

Gravlax should be soft, and keep the natural orange color of the fish, it should be oily from the fish fat- that one seemed, old. It's really more of a snack or side tho

UPDATE: Anna Vincenzos ( cici) went out of business April 2010. She went back to her old ways. Cici and Michael are separated and living apart. Cici also had raised the prices and made portions smaller. The restaurant was a FAIL.!

In 🇨🇦 it’s required to have a food handlers working in a kitchen. so every staff has a safe idea of food. I hope America is the same!!

I just don’t understand why a woman that would threaten to kill someone is even allowed to have kids.
For sure he knows that food storage unit is bad even before he see or eat the food but he still let them served the food to the customer to look more dramatic for the show. With all his experience he should never allow to serve the food in the first place before someone get sick🤒

Loud, scripted, exaggerated overly dramatic nonsense.
Only a little bit is actually scripted. The places he went to really were pretty much as bad as shown in the show. The way some of the owners have tried to shift blame onto gordon for their failure really shows that how they acted in the show is how they really were.
