Heart Rate Monitor While Racing? 170 beats per minute!

I strapped a real time heart rate monitor to myself to see just how much of a workout a hot lap is! I am driving my 1994 BMW time attack race car and pushing 170+ beats per minute! In this type of racing, we are pushing 100% all the time, so there is no time for relaxing and calming down.
