As a serial unboxer, I've ended up getting a bunch of cool stuff. My best unusual was probably a Nebula Universal Translator, and a whole night where (out of 50-60 crates) I got 4 hats and 4 unusualifiers. ill splerg every 2 weeks, yay paychecks, and get at least 30-50 or so crates per go. I kinda want to stop, but ehhh that adrenaline rush is pretty nice. I totally agree with what you'ee getti g at though. It's a god awful gamble, and your money could be spent anywhere better, but its just something fun to do on the side.
Brought here by Archimo and as an Unbox addict myself i can safely say you are 100% correct, it is not worth it. Do not do it. I'm starting 2020 with the goal to keep my unboxing to an absolute minimum. I have been regarded as a super lucky person in the past with my crazy unboxing luck but when you look at the big picture i'm not lucky one bit, just a fool, played by the system...
Welcome to Unboxers Anonymous, my name is Purpl. That's a beautiful resolution, though! Here me out, if you know you'll still want to unbox throughout the year, limit yourself to 1 crate a week like I did with my blog. I'm not saying you have to write a blog on it, but each post did give me a small project to look forward to every week. Plus, I still got to open a crate! And if I didn't get an unusual with that one crate, then that just wasn't the day I was going to unbox an unusual.
@@noitsjustcodyYeah if the urge got too strong or during the year another crate series dropped with some pretty good stuff in it i'm going to try and only open cases that drop for me. Even then i'll probably try and keep a stash of unopened cases that dropped for me so i can maybe unbox 1 every now and then like you say, good idea. Thanks
I swear some accounts have better luck than others. A mate got 2 aussies in 7 tours and I’ve unboxed about only 30 crates since 2012 (excluding the crate depression) and gotten 2 unusuals. Nothing high Tier but still rigged for sure
It's crazy how luck works sometimes. I had a buddy open 3 cases on stream and pull a knife on CSGO, and I mean hell I pulled an Unusual on Crate #9! If I stopped then I woulda came out ahead I guess haha. Either way grats on that crazy luck of yours!
