This year has been absolutely incredible so far! Over the summer we played nearly 30 live shows and we enjoyed every single one of them :) This clip is from one of our most recent performances at the "Saloon" which is a Western/Steak Place in Vienna (Donauzentrum Kagran, 1220 Vienna) and we are performing the Beatles track called "Drive My Car".

I got it in early 66 ..I was 3 and change. 😅 That cover got the dickens tore out of it. I played that album every day.
These young beautiful ladies show that there is so talent out there that hasn't been recognized by the public that needs to be.
If you've never tried it, playing a lead guitar line while singing can be very hard. This woman is nailing it!
Yes and no depends on the complexity of the line, The rhythm and how much one practices
For me playing a baseline and singing can be a little bit more trickier ..Especially if you’re doing the alternating fingering.
But yes she did a good job
@@dand2760 When I first started out I was playing lead guitar and singing lead. I had a really tough time with the Beatles "Day Tripper" playing the lead line and singing at the same time. Later I switched to bass and rarely had that problem.
Well Paul (McC) is very good at it; even lead on bass......

anything that's complicated is hard, playing a bassline that isn't just rootnotes while singing is hard, and playing lead(especially when the part isn't the melody) is damn near impossible(for me that is)
This song is more than 50 years old and has lost nothing of its charm. You play it perfectly.

The Beatles style is the best way to sing their songs. Cover artists should not spoil it. These girls are doing it the right way.
Some cover artists even change the chords.
It’s not classical music, it’s rock you can do whatever you wanna do.

The Beatles could all play. And then there were the vocals. When I was in HS, all the local bands loved the Beatles but very few of us ever dared to cover them. And these girls and their band make it seem so easy.
Huge Hefner once said when the magazine Penthouse came out. "Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. I love that the younger generation recognize the Beatles. I grew up with them from Ed Sullivan on.

Not really a version, more of a copy, but very good all the same.
The band was good, the ladies were VERY good, I reckon the surviving Beatles and those Beatles swimming across the universe would give a unanimous thumbs up.

Note the redhead is singing while playing the individual note lead guitar riff rather than just strumming (easier) - which takes a certain amount of rock player accomplishment (I suppose a bass player should also get credit for this ability.)

Beautiful girls playing beautifully a beautiful song with beautiful guitars!!! Too much beauty here! A Gretsch guitar with a Duesenberg trem... Interesting upgrade.
When I was in my teens I learned to play the guitar and fancied I could sound like the Beatles. Of course, like 99.999% of the similarly deluded, I sounded like an accident in a scrapyard. Roll on almost 50 years and I see this: two women less than half my age producing a version of a classic that's almost better than the Beatles original. It's totally authentic in its delivery but also totally MLT's version of it. I don't know how they do it. Oh yes, I know! Sheer talent. And the recording is so clean you can hear every last note. These two really are quite remarkable.
Both are fantastic it took me to 1970's and lived there as long as the song lasted, Whoooo. Yeah.
It's rare that any Beatles cover is half decent but this band absolutely nailed this great song. I assume it is live with no additions so kudos for excellent harmonies and playing.
I've always thought that covers tend to do Beatles songs better than Beatles. It's their music that were great, not their talent to play them. This song was meant for females to sing.

I grew up with The Beatles music in my ears and loved it then and the girls bring back all those memories with the way they play the music so faithfully. Fabulous

Damn. There really ARE young people under 40 that can a) play live without automatic vocal tuning, play and sing well, and have actually heard of the Beatles. There is hope for humanity after all! Keep rockin' girls!
... There is no automatic live vocal tuning or almost, it's a very rare occurence. The level of players coming from jazz schools nowadays is probably the highest it's even been, and there are more people making great music and sharing with the world than ever before. I'm 24 and I know better the Sinatra classics that I play with a big-band, and this isn't being the exception if you went to jazz college. I can name you many, many, many players under 40 who will blow your mind right away, and a few in their 40's or older who are a pain in the b*** to play with specifically because they seem to believe they have some kind of inherent talent since they're older. This agist shit needs to stop. I've been a drummer for 15 years, I'm also a sound engineer, and this is bullshit. Pop music always had bad artists, we just don't remember them 30 years down the road is all. I'm not mad a you or anything but this *really* need to stop. I listened to all 13 albums of The Beatles starting when I was 10, take them all for a one month spin, top to bottom every night after school. And again - people who do this were *always* the minorities no matter their generation. The Beatles did this too with the artists before them, and so on and so forth. Cheers!
Frankly about 20 years ago I started to wonder why I'd EVER liked some of the Beatles songs and now the list has grown. I cannot say that about many of the other groups of my day. I'm 73 by the way

Just Brilliant. You do this so well it took me back a long way in time to when this track first came out. It had all the feel of the original - guitar licks etc - but with a freshness you bring to all your music. Really great to watch and listen to, thank you very much.

When you listen to the Love album so much, hearing the actual other verses to this song instead of parts of What You're Doing and The Word is jarring.

Best Beatles cover I've ever heard. Even the guitar solo was so George that George couldn't have done it better. It's also a reminder of how good music was back then.

As someone old enough to have seen The Beatles live many times before they became famous when growing up in Liverpool I love this. These two Austrian sisters are so talented and are now writing some great stuff of their own.

I admit I'm a complete snob when it comes to Beatles covers... but I am very impressed. Immaculate harmonies and the lead guitar riffs are superb whilst not compromising the singing at the same time. It captures the original spirit of the song yet has its own interpretation. Well done!
