This year has been absolutely incredible so far! Over the summer we played nearly 30 live shows and we enjoyed every single one of them :) This clip is from one of our most recent performances at the "Saloon" which is a Western/Steak Place in Vienna (Donauzentrum Kagran, 1220 Vienna) and we are performing the Beatles track called "Drive My Car".

These young beautiful ladies show that there is so talent out there that hasn't been recognized by the public that needs to be.

If you've never tried it, playing a lead guitar line while singing can be very hard. This woman is nailing it!
Yes and no depends on the complexity of the line, The rhythm and how much one practices
For me playing a baseline and singing can be a little bit more trickier ..Especially if you’re doing the alternating fingering.

@@dand2760 When I first started out I was playing lead guitar and singing lead. I had a really tough time with the Beatles "Day Tripper" playing the lead line and singing at the same time. Later I switched to bass and rarely had that problem.
Well Paul (McC) is very good at it; even lead on bass......

anything that's complicated is hard, playing a bassline that isn't just rootnotes while singing is hard, and playing lead(especially when the part isn't the melody) is damn near impossible(for me that is)

The Beatles could all play. And then there were the vocals. When I was in HS, all the local bands loved the Beatles but very few of us ever dared to cover them. And these girls and their band make it seem so easy.
Such a good point. So many of their songs sound, well, relatively easy to play and sing along to, but then you try …
Yesterday is just one example. People can play it, of course, but it’s almost to sing. McCartney is a genius imo.
I was there and I was playing. They were simply god-like in their day. Not many wanted to cover Beatles tunes if they couldn’t nail the studio versions. Curiously these women are presenting a righteous rendition. In their live performances, the Beatles were similar in their performances to this. I can also tell you w/o a doubt the originals played many performances that they struggled to hear themselves for all the incessant screaming of fans.
In the 1960s the Beatles were superstars. Now they’re legends and any decent covers are well received. Yeah yeah yeah. I’m still doing it.
The Beatles style is the best way to sing their songs. Cover artists should not spoil it. These girls are doing it the right way.
Some cover artists even change the chords.
It’s not classical music, it’s rock you can do whatever you wanna do.

If you can put the right spin go for it, look at The Breeders and The Damned, they did amazing jobs.
When I was in my teens I learned to play the guitar and fancied I could sound like the Beatles. Of course, like 99.999% of the similarly deluded, I sounded like an accident in a scrapyard. Roll on almost 50 years and I see this: two women less than half my age producing a version of a classic that's almost better than the Beatles original. It's totally authentic in its delivery but also totally MLT's version of it. I don't know how they do it. Oh yes, I know! Sheer talent. And the recording is so clean you can hear every last note. These two really are quite remarkable.

I grew up with The Beatles music in my ears and loved it then and the girls bring back all those memories with the way they play the music so faithfully. Fabulous

It's rare that any Beatles cover is half decent but this band absolutely nailed this great song. I assume it is live with no additions so kudos for excellent harmonies and playing.
I've always thought that covers tend to do Beatles songs better than Beatles. It's their music that were great, not their talent to play them. This song was meant for females to sing.

I admit I'm a complete snob when it comes to Beatles covers... but I am very impressed. Immaculate harmonies and the lead guitar riffs are superb whilst not compromising the singing at the same time. It captures the original spirit of the song yet has its own interpretation. Well done!

Frankly about 20 years ago I started to wonder why I'd EVER liked some of the Beatles songs and now the list has grown. I cannot say that about many of the other groups of my day. I'm 73 by the way

As someone old enough to have seen The Beatles live many times before they became famous when growing up in Liverpool I love this. These two Austrian sisters are so talented and are now writing some great stuff of their own.

Steen - Me too! I turned 12 in Nov. 1963 (the day after President Kennedy was assinated), and when I Want To Hold Your Hand was "the" song on the radio in December, I was a confirmed Beatlemaniac! My dad died March 1964, and if The Beatles hadn't been around to help me heal after JFK and Dad, I don't know how I would have coped. We were born at the right time, obviously!

Note the redhead is singing while playing the individual note lead guitar riff rather than just strumming (easier) - which takes a certain amount of rock player accomplishment (I suppose a bass player should also get credit for this ability.)
