Hey Mike. Fun fact. My Dad wrote Beep Beep. Donny Claps ..I always wondered when I heard that , being a huge Beatles fan …if that part of that song was a “wink wink say no more “ to The Playmates. My pops told me a funny story. . When they where touring England. They saw girls running around outside a theatre. And he asked the driver what’s going on. He said it’s this new band the Beatles. My dad thought “ huh” that’s a lot of crazy girls. Can I ask. Where you got this priceless piece of info and thank you so much You made my day and also my 91 year old mom
Steve - Cool! "Beep Beep" was one on my favorite tunes when I was a kid - yeah, I'm THAT old. and FYI - ANYTHING you want to know about the Beatles is available with a GOOGLE search. Give my best to your mom!
Hi Steve, I must have driven everyone nuts as I went around singing that song as a youngster. I could never quite decide if it was a Dash Traveller or a Rash Traveller but now with the aid of google I find it's a Nash Traveller. Better late than never, I guess it wasn't that clear on the old vinyl anyway. Thanks for the story, nice to think it may have inspired the Beatles.
Hello Mike, Your opinion please. For an old beginner, Is the Hofner Ignition Series Violin Bass any good? $399.99. I know the real mc Coy cost is $2899.99. Thanks much.
MrMarty - always know that tone comes mainly from the fingers. A guitar is a tool. Put in the proper hands it's magic. I just about always buy the least expensive model. On eBay or REVERB and used.
Great job! I especially like how you reverse all of the Paul parts to make it look left-handed. What's amazing to me about this song is that there's no rhythm guitar! I play this on acoustic... D7, G7, D7, G7, A7#5, Bm, G7, Bm, G7, Bm, E, A, D, G..... etc. Until seeing you play it, it never occurred to me that there's no rhythm guitar in it! Well done, Mike!
Yet another off the charts Beatles lesson Mike! Hard to beat the musical genius of the Fab Four! Thanks & I hope that you are doing well & staying safe over there! 👏👏👍👍🎸🎸🎤🎤👏👏👍👍
Whenever anyone talks about someone "will soon break the Beatles record for #1 singles" just remember how many album tracks the Beatles never released as singles that would easily have gone to #1, and the fact that they're comparing a 7-year career to acts spanning 30-40 years.
@@docsavage8640 The Beats released 5 albums in 1964 and 4 in 1965! You're right, a band with longevity today might release 8 albums in 40 years, if they can manage to last that long.
Great job Mike....LMAO on the description of '...baby, you can drive my car'.....I am now having my guitar instructor teach me bass guitar...he is giving me a 'short bass' for 'free'. Now I can do lead/rhythm and in a pinch, bass guitar......hmm, next drums ???. Mike, many thanks for all the great videos as I have learned soooo much about the Beatles from your introductions into the songs they made.👍👍👍👍
please do "I Me Mine" next, such a cool waltzy song with the spanish riff too.. omg i love that song. thank you for everything you do Mike your channel is amazing!
Always loved this song, such a fun one to jam on but I never actually knew there was a slide on the original so that was cool to learn as well. Still waiting on a video for Hey Bulldog or If I Fell, great video as always Mike and keep 'em up
Great! I have always played the guitar part starting with open D string, pull down on third fret /g on second, d pull down, d open, e (6th) on third and so on. I love it this way, but I think yours is the real way. I'll keep playing Like I used to- that's my version, but I love that you show us so many great things.
Apart from singing harmony, was there no role for John Lennon in this song? Who plays the piano part? Just curious… Great job as always Mike. Merci beaucoup, greetings from Québec 👍❤️

David - Thanks - and yeah - my speaker is fine. It's an old EV12L. (I like a TON of headroom). I'm reluctant to change anything else (it's all original) because the noise is intermittent - as you can tell since it stopped in the video. I'll wait 'til it's terminal. I've plenty of other amps...
Hello, Mike! According Walter Everett, solo-guitar was recorded on the same track (the 4th) with piano and cowbell. Album notes say piano was Paul. So... Is it mistake? Piano was not Paul but John? Or solo-guitar was not Paul but George? Or John? What do you think?
Hi Mike! Love your Videos. I have been learning a lot of the early days of The Beatles, and since the release of the amazing Get Back documentary, i've wanted to learn som the guitar parts of the Let it Be Album. Particuraly, One after 909 and I've got a Feeling. Keep rockin!!

Black was both a friend of the Beatles and a protégée of Brian Epstein. As the TV mini-series Cilla revealed, Willis was also offered a recording contract by Epstein, but Black objected, saying that she was the "star" and Willis was to be the road manager who would "drive my car"."
