I love sleeping too. That’s why my kitty and I get on so tremendously well together. Only problem is she wakes up with 100% energy to play, usually around 4am LOL.
If they weren't so adorable, they would come across as lazy ungrateful entitled little buggers and I would kick them out of the house. I think being cute is actually a survival skill for cats.
Omgoodness! I can't believe he DOES seem to be growing up fast. I work nights, sleeping large parts of the day. The tiny lion is often keeping my bed warm when I get home in the morning. After we greet one another and I shower , getting ready for bed, he joins me! Also, he's nursing on my earlobes. Purring softly and kneading my head and neck. Very affectionate at bedtime. My kitten is 8 weeks old.
My 14 yr. old Siamese male sleeps about 22 hr. a day. He pretty much lives on my bed. He is healthy so I do not worry to much about all the sleep being that it is winter and I am 66 yr. old myself and sleep a lot as well. I love the old boy and will be so grieved when he passes.
My Fur Daughter Queeny 💕 will be 11 yrs old and she sleeps 💤 alot during the day ! But @ night i hear her running around playing with her squeaky toes 🥰
When my cat was 5 months old she started sleeping all day, I grew weary cause she wasn't playing and finally refused to eat, I took her to the vet and they found a massive infection. Right now she's almost 5 years old and spring is when she's the most active. In summer because it was deliciously warm she sunbathed almost 13-14 hours, now that is winter I make her a nest where she sleeps all day and almost all afternoon, around 7-8pm she jumpstarts her motor and plays for 2-3 hours ... Finally at 11-12 I play fully with her, feed her and we go to bed. I'm gonna try to engage in play time during the afternoon but it's difficult with my countries humid cold weather.
Our cats sleeps the whole day and they are only awake when the want to eat and during night time they walk away.I don't know where they go.And in the morning they just went home to sleep and eat.
My kitten is 6 weeks old and loves to sleep! She is so feisty and loves to play in the mornings and afternoon, then around 3pm will go down for a few hours on my chest, in her cat tree on in her bed and then will wake up to eat, go to the bathroom and we repeat it all other again! I am in love 😽
My elderly can (14) sleeps most days around 18hrs but can still scale his 7 ft cat tree in 2 leaps. some days he bounces off walls (usually in winter when he has cabin fever!) 🤣
I knew but didn't visually realize how much my cats slept until Covid hit and I had to work from home.... Like I'd start work they'd be around then disappear the rest of the work day and I'd just be like wtf? Then on top of that they'd get up to see what I was cooking then go RIGHT BACK to sleep..... I def know now when I'm at work they sleep majority of the day
So my cat got sick at the age of four she was weak and wouldn’t eat she was more skinny than normal and she got a lot better at hiding! When she got better, she was the happiest cat in the world!
My cat must be a freak. My Bengal only sleeps deeply when I go to bed. Other than that he is always alert and when he goes for a nap he is only a very light sleeper.

my burmese kitten is dying, he just wont adapt to his new home, a vet visit woud charge at least 1000.00 dollars for some vitamin i v, from past experience when a kitten gives up, nothing will save him.

In the first hour, cat created the world. Then it took a nap for 23 hours to reflect upon just how great it was; and it was good, as it should be.

Kitty cuddling up to you and purring is the most soothing thing ever! Better than a full fledged massage.
