    So to remove the key from the panel, do you have to take it to the dealership? And for those who don't have a reseller in the country, how do you do it? for example, if i import the bike to another country that doesn't have aprilia, how do i reset the key?

    some folded aluminum foil underneath the oil filter will alleviate the used oil "slop" so you don't have oil everywhere. That old oil will travel right into the used oil container. Slick.!

    Thanks for this. Just threw my leg over one of these today and it seems to fit (so, wallet in danger). Just getting back into riding after years away. Didn't know if this would be too much bike. Just pushing it back and forth it felt lighter than the listed weight. Everyone seems to love this thing.

      It's a work of art! The riding modes have a good amount of adjustability so you could easily make it very tame and laid-back feeling if you are just getting back into riding!

    Hello, did you noticed any increases oil consumption in your bike? Theres some reports of incresed oil burning in these engines. Tuono and rs660 had problems with this issue in the past .(this is the same engine different camshaft )

    • @SticksTricks
      @SticksTricks  Рік тому

      I believe those issues have been fixed with the current generation of engines. Mine never burned, used, or leaked a drop of oil in the 3K miles I owned the bike.

      @@SticksTricks what do you mean by "current generation"?

    People do say that putting oil in the new oil filter before installation is not necessary. Who knows. But the oil filter should be tight enough just by using both hands as hard as one can when putting it in. Mechanics just use hands so should be ok for us mortals too 😁

      I don't know on the tuareg but on engine generaly you don't need to fill the filter because you will have to turn on the engine on anyway to fill it entirely before doing your final oil level check.
