About Legacy Cane Fu:
Sensei Joseph Bruno trained with Korean Master Moon in New Britain Connecticut, and with Stalking Wolf's grandson, Tom Brown Jr. He has trained with the cane for decades, and is a member instructor in good standing with the Independent Karate Schools of America, which recognizes his authority to issue rank in Martial Arts. The Independent Karate Schools of America also recognizes Sensei Joseph Bruno as a Martial Arts and Science Educator with all of the rights, privileges, and honors there to appertaining.

I have gotten my first cane only a few days now before finding your channel I have just turned 67 this month. I would love to learn how to do this I can see you are a master of the cane I am so glad I found your videos and looking forward to seeing more and if possible learning your techniques . The ancient Korean noble class knew the power of the cane, and they developed a series of techniques, and exercises with the cane. The cane must become an extension of your mind and body, the mind and body are separate entities, but the mind controls the body, the cane must become an appendage. My friend Jack, lost his leg when he was 24, his crochets have become an appendage, and extension of his mind and body. Jack and I hike, the trails down here, and he's incredibly agile, we have 360 degree sphere around us, and that is our personal territorial space, when somebody enters your space with ill intent, you need to strike. Time and distance are crucial, if the timing is off, if you're too early or too late, if the distance is off, you're too far away or too close, the technique will be off. When you're in a situation fear can grip you, don't let the fear immobilize you, feel the fear, and do it anyway, fear can be a gift, it will enhance your senses...

Yes Jon has blessed me with legacy cane fu and I will never get beat up agianb
"A strike is a block" is a good principle. It is used in both one and twohanded sword fighting.
However, this form of "Block striking" doesn't make use of any of the canes advantages.
Similar to sword fighting it would be better to "strike defensively". With a simple diagonal swing you'll strike through any attack the swing meets, while making use of the full reach advantage of the cane. A mid swing cane is also much harder to grab.

Eventually after weeks of crawling through the backrooms you find a room with windows. But then you hear bongos and you hear him mumbling mid monologue. Unsure where or when he began or will end, as his cane swings to the eternal bongo hits.
