    Thank you for reminding everyone to be ready to meet an attack. You can’t be half hearted with your response.
    You must give it your all, in order to end the attack quickly.
    Be ready to change techniques according to the part that needs to be removed or destroyed, for self defense, as you say :)

    Thank you so much!
    By intuition (luck/common sense), so far I carried my selfmade walking stick which has a loop made from paracord, in the right way. In case someone will pull on the stick the loop will not be my doom. I will use elbow strikes for self-defense as fast and hard as I can.
    Self-defense training is the most important daily activity for me, all thanks to you 🙏
    P.S.
    The very last passage of Larkin's book, "Make Peace", I can read it over and over again. Beautiful.

    Great lesson Sensei ; My new Cane Masters Cane should be shipping this week, I hope . I ordered a very " Customized package " , Para cord wrapped handle , octagonal and red crystal " Snake eyes " , soo!!! I really like the idea of wrapping the Para cord handle around your hand , know one is taking the cane away .!!! I have training with two canes for a while now and I am very confident in my ability to defend myself .....Excellent instruction Sensei .!! I really enjoyed this lesson. Thank you Sensei .

    I found an awesome way to spin/whip,, instead of vertical i go horizonal and stop it on my back, I hit my 100lb punching bag so hard it moves about a foot or more, but mine is aircraft aluminum and heavier

    On my CaneMasters cane, i permantly affixed the rubber foot with a wood screw and a thin washer. Make sure to screw it in far enough that it doesn’t scuff the floor and make Her mad.
    Thanks for another fine lesson, Coach!

      Interesting, thanks for sharing!
      What I did, perhaps not the most common way, is using very strong transparent kit glue to fix the rubber tip with steel inside to my homemade walking stick. I did not use super glue since the super glue I have is getting hard as stone. The transparent kit glue I have used promises a bit of a remaining flexibility.
      So, far, the tip is super steady, luckily it never flew through the apartment during training 😎

    • @studer6884
      @studer6884 10 місяців тому +1

      @@AlitaAvenger good suggestion. What is kit glue? I tried tacky glue and construction adhesive, but neither held up when hitting tires.

    • @AlitaAvenger
      @AlitaAvenger 10 місяців тому +1

      @@studer6884 It's from the brand Bison. The package says 'kit' which would indicate it's a silicone kit, but it's actually a very tough glue in a tube, package images show you can even repair shoes with. Another one from Bison is called Max Repair, that one is definitely also not getting as hard as super glue. Bison's super glue is awesome as well, the gel formula does not drip. I am not sure if you can get this brand in the USA. Here in the Netherlands it's widely available.
      Best regards!

    Just got my hickory cane with pointed horn! Now I am holding it during the video and watching like a kitten with its mother!
    OK, so what about doing cane footwork? Like forward motion, rearward motion & lateral motion, all while striking? After all, we don't want to stand there like statues, right?

    Remember talking Court Laws, Remember anything can be called a Weapon a belt a Shoe a Broomstick!
    What is most important when going to Court with a Cane remember its an elderly person aprox 70dy years old give or take? Now if someone tries and robs you with a knife that's much younger and Stronger than you.!
    What do you think a Judge would say if you were being Robbed by a youth or a very strong younger man and having a knife, This cane could be quite handy in knocking it out of his hand and in the tussle you brake his hand or knock him out,,, Being an elderly man walking with a cane, again against a youth or younger man again robbing you.!
    ( The Judge will side with you always!)
    But ofcourse you can't just bear on people, this defense feature other than using it for walking is a Win Win for elderly with the proper training, and ofcourse not to victimize anyone,
    That's not the purpose of this training!
    ThankYou: Matt Pasquiniti ❤️

    I have seen cane masters and the different figures. From what l understand they can use the figures against you in the court of law saying the edge of the cane you have on it is you wanted to try out to damage or maim the person. But a regular looking cane is a regular cane you can buy from a store or have a custom looking cane without all those figures. The cane has been modified to be a dangerous tool or weapon then a regular looking cane. So people need to watch how it is advertised so they don't get caught up I a lawsuit. Also be know to walk around with a cane around your area. So this way they can't say you are looking for trouble and wanted to try out the cane on someone.

      This reminds me of those silly little "tactical" serrations on some flashlights.
      They're too small to stab or slash with, but just big enough to make your enemy bleed excessively and create gory emergency-room photos for his lawyer to show the jury.

      Jayhoene 449. Good info , in the UK it is a nanny state you can not carry a folding knife that lock s or flips out ,and the self-defence laws are tight . Be careful and be safe.

    • @orion_13
      @orion_13 5 місяців тому

      Any good lawyer will blow holes through this BS. If you hit someone with it then it is protection, right? The same flaw in this logic is saying self-defense rounds made by "X" manufacturer are made to be "more deadly". In both situations, YOU are the victim before the action happens.

    • @jayhom449

      @orion_13 when you get the chance get this book "Law of self-defense " by Andrew F Branca you can get it for free if the offer is still up on his website. You'll learn alot from this book.
