- Hey everyone!
Here is a really easy tutorial for a high-waisted bikini bottom. To make this you will need 0.5m of stretchy swim fabric, 0.5m of a light swim lining, and some 1/4 inch elastic. For the pattern you just need a bikini bottom you already have or a pair of underwear to trace.
If you would like to see a tutorial for the bikini top I showed at the end, subscribe to my channel for that and other tutorials coming soon! Enjoy!!

She seriously knows what she’s doing. I mean when I am sewing I just start cursing myself and screaming internal and externally until finally I’m done and I go prancing around the house like “Look what I made 🥰”
SAMEEEE 💀 and than be like "I'm so talented💅"
Omgosh I am laughing so hard because this is me tooo. Omgosh and I sew all the time and used to make dresses for a living and this is still me too. Omgosh I am 😂 laughing so hard.

Awesome video! What kind of paper are you using ?
Very good....that is good job and inspiration creative and usefully for me to sewing and to do to bussiness..
Thank you very much miss ..i very like...good luck for you....🥰🥰🙏🙏
For the leg holes, did you also wrap the elastic around your legs too lol to have more of a fitting?
Yes! It definitely helps double check the fit :)
Did you sew directly on top of the elastic when doing the leg whole, or at the edge? Very helpful video btw! 💕
Yes I sewed right over the elastic with the zigzag stitch to secure it 😊 & thank you! 💜
Thanks 👍
great job! can't wait t make this. I have one question though, did you sew right on the elastic? I always thought you couldn't sew on elastic because then it won't stretch, no? Thx in advance
I did sew right over it yes! You can sew over it with a zig zag stitch while stretching and it will come out just as stretchy as before :) best of luck!
What is this paper you used called?
Do you use a specific sawing machine?
Is the printed fabric a woven non-stretch? I see fraying.
Won't it be better to use a thicker elastic for the top area?
It will be more comfortable if you use a wide elastic.
Where did you get the swim fabric and lining? I want to make one for my daughter. I can’t find high waisted anywhere for her!
I just got it at a local fabric store, I found it somewhere near all the other swim fabrics!
Konsa cloth ka material h mam
How do you add tummy control if a customer wants to be held in more? ❤
Add power mesh with the lining @pixie
What fabric did you use?
I hope you used swimwear elastic instead of regular elastic. The elastic in the leg openings needs to be snug in the rear and have a 1:1 ration in the front. That way, the elastic will sit smoothly on the front of your legs and cup the rear.
what kind of fabric you use
Hate to ask but where besides Amazon can you get swimsuit fabric.
I just get my fabric from local fabric stores :)
Is it swim fabric?
Yes swim fabric would work best :)
Where did you get that paper???
Its medical tracing paper, you can find it on amazon :)
What’s the name of the pink fabric?
Not too sure the exact name; its kind of like a stretch mesh though!
No entiendo nadaaaaa, por favor traducir en español. Gracias.
