I learned how to sew during the panoramic (not a typo 😂). Why I would put myself through such knowing the machine and I were side eyeing each other the first day, I’m not sure. I REALLY appreciate you adding the bit with failed attempts 1-6. I found your video while tearing up the internet for what felt like the millionth time searching for a video showing how to draft a pattern from measurements, not purchase a pattern that covers size ranges #BigBattyGyalCommitteeRep Im not sure why this never showed up in my searches, but maybe the wording for my search was not right. I found you at the perfect time. Sobbing over a cup of coffee about failing for an 8th time, wasted fabric and ready to sell my serger + machine. The sewing part stopped being a problem after attempt number 4; I guess the failed attempts helped to fortify the skills I did not possess prior to embarking on this journey. I wake up at 5 AM to do my sewing. It is the time I can strike a balance in my schedule for Practice, work and life in general. Oh my gosh! THIS!! Thank you so much! This really touched me. I'm so glad you finally found what you were looking for. The reason I created this video was because I went through that same struggle of tearing up youtube trying to find a tutorial on how to draft a bikini bottom pattern. I know how you feel about the 'wasted' fabric. But it's not wasted, with every attempt, we gain some knowledge. Even if the next try isn't perfect, it's better than the last, no? And sell your machine and serger??...I think not! Lol, uhn uhn! Out of all the videos I've uploaded....this was the most time consuming to create. Aside from all the failed bikinis I had just as many....if not more, failed patterns. I'm really happy it brought value to someone. Thank you so much for the encouragement.
