Do you have any tips for minimizing the peeking out of the fabric underneath? Would going over the hem, when everything's turned the right way out, with a zig zag finish hold them flatter? Or coud you insert the elastic between the two layers instead of one top of one of them?

Do you have to add the elastic? Can you make it with only the strict fabric?
