Just bought one of these and just to confuse the issue, I have the same controller as you but the pump prime buttons are the top and bottom buttons on the right. Took me 20 minutes to work out why it was not priming with the OK and the down buttons.

What would be useful to have known, for a new user at least, is how long to prime for? A minute? 5 minutes? How can you tell what's enough?

Very helpful video, so firstly thank you. I think my timer must be set, but didn't set it. I have only just installed the unit it's like yours in the video but I've had it for nearly 3 years. I never set the timer but I walked out to the van this morning and it was going but it wasn't warm, how do I turn it off the timer please mate, and why would it not be hot, does it need to be primed before start every time? Thank you

Just a quick note, If it helps, after not running my heater for about six months, the display had been on all that time, I started it up and got all the error codes. The panel control was locked and unusable. So I did the old turn off and turn on thing and all codes disappeared and it started no problem. I guess the moral of the story is if you're not using the heater, unplug it from the battery, and plug it in again when you need it 👍

Do you turn the primer off before starting ? Or just press the on
    button?
    Thanks

I wonder if you can help me with this one ...my diesel heaters been running fine but I've noticed on the pressure side from from the pump there's a section of air in the pipe. It's also running a little colder. Any efforts to reprime it haven't worked. What are your thoughts ?

Press and hold the right side top and bottom buttons - you need to keep pressing and holding until primed

I know this is a year past but here is my question. I have a working pump but fuel is not pumping through the line, what could be the issue?

Either the pipe is kinked and blocked.. or Air lock, I’d say. You might need to try manually bleed the hose by taking the end off at the heater and letting the fuel run down. Also check for folds, kinks

@@AussieVanAdventures I will be doing that within a day or two, also I think my pump moved into a flat position and not between a 15-30° angle hanging under my trailer, I will be relocating the pump to a better location and shortening the lines. I'm thinking of mounting the pump in a box screwed to the lower part of the front of the trailer close to the fuel tank.
It's been sitting with never being started and the pump is good, just acts like no suction.
Thank you AussieVanAdventures for letting me know where to start.

How's the previous comments. 😆 Scammers
If you got a long run of fuel line and want too bleed it.
If you have one or they are cheap too but on ebay.
Is a hand held break line and clutch line bleeder.
Just connect the diesel line too the bleeder and pump a couple time as it is like a vacuum without letting air into system. Then put the line back on your pump and then prime or start the Heater and the pump will last a bit longer not running dry why priming.
