mate thanks for this i have one and first run tonight i was wondering how you set the time and timer, now you have explained i have subscribed to all as a thanks
Thank you very much for your easy to follow video on how to operate the control unit on the diesel heater . It's certainly made things a lot easier now
Thanks mate. I've just fitted this unit in my camper and im very happy with it. I find power 1 is great for me. Not to noisey and plenty of heat. Thanks for the controller tips.
Hi I was looking forward to using my heater for the first time after watching you video on how to use the controller. First snag I found is there isn't a spanner symbol and it isn't in the settings either. My controller seems to be different to the one on your video also the heater instruction book is next to useless, can you help please?
So yes the instructions are useless. There are different controllers with slightly different use. Some functions work the same and some don't. Most youtube controller videos are for the cog type which is different to this one!
Very helpful video, so firstly thank you. I think my timer must be set, but didn't set it. I have only just installed the unit it's like yours in the video but I've had it for nearly 3 years. I never set the timer but I walked out to the van this morning and it was going but it wasn't warm, how do I turn it off the timer please mate, and why would it not be hot, does it need to be primed before start every time? Thank you
Fantastic video as I have this one so useful 👍 Question When you turn it off and the control panel goes off not lite up is it still using power from the battery 👍👍😜cheers
Great video hard to find content for the Triclicks. I have just installed one and after stripping down to clean after I flooded it is stuck with an E-06 error on start up. I have tried everything with the fan but no luck. Have you had this at all and if so any tips please? Thanks
Very helpful, as you say not many clear instructions for the spanner type of controller. Your site description sounds very familiar. Off now to almost finish another project. 😊
I bought this model and followed all instruction but when the heater gets to a certain heat internally it starts blowing out smoke (not thick, like when you burn food in the oven) then when I turn it off white smoke sometimes comes out of the air in take pipe. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?
I set the temp very easily using the remote. It is but a simple press of a button. Once it reaches the desired temp it powers down to idle. If the temp drops a degree centigrade, or thereabouts, it cranks up to high again. This seems ideal to me.
I've tried with button operation and with the remote, but it doesn't stop heating! Right now it's 17 degrees in here, heater is set to 13 and it just keeps heating... Any idea if I could be doing something wrong?
@@thomasdt1991 Unless your heater is the type to turn off at a certain temperature it will continue heating. You can set the temperature to reach before the heater powers down to idle, but it will still keep on running. You will need another gadget to turn it off altogether, such as the Bureck CD Thermostat (Google or UA-cam Search for it). I have one and it works a treat. It turns the heater off and on at the required temp.
The controller I have is different but I get no power to the diesel pump I thought it was the heater so I just a brand new one, along with a 600w power board and mains uk plug , and I get no start up on the fuel pump nothing , any ideas would help 😊

Why don't I have the option to set the time? I didn't have it on my old CDH which I've just swapped out but the new one didn't give me that 0000 screen at the start either .... so frustrating. I also need to tune this new one - but can't find advance settings! 😢
How do you get in to the serice menu on one of these to adjust the hz and fan speeds for hi and low? I have the one with the cog. Tried the usual press top left button 3 times to enter password but just primes the pump!. Stumped me so far...
Hi everyone - mainly Grantsyard and Van Life UK - thanks to them to explain "advance " programming after entering password code "1234". P & t is manual heat control or thermostat control, 1 & 2 is selection between 12V or 24V, H & L is 5000W or 2000W, last number is 1 - 16ml, 2 - 22ml, 8 - 28ml dosing pump. Today I tested my 5KW heater with this "spanner" setting button controller model - all perfect, on P-01 heater 175*C, exhaust 220*C, only two LEDs, on P-05 heater 190*C, exhaust 340*C, four LEDs, on P-10 heater 206*C, exhaust 490*C, six LEDs. A lot of heat out of exhaust - my intention is to make muffler combine with heat exchanger to heat water for additional small hydronic heater and shower in my mobile home as next stage. I hope that software is and will controlling fan speed & fuel dosing to good combustion without "manual" programming fan & fuel ratio as on older controllers. Personally - I'll prefer option for "manual" for case need to do it - going to top on mountains - do not know yet how this controller will behaviour. Good luck everyone, Vas.
Any idea how to change the heat setting to Hz? I have 2 heaters, 1 has the 1-10 and 1 has 1.4hz to 5. Something. The one showing Hz runs at a lower pump speed at its lowest setting than the one with 1-10 so it uses for fuel. Bit anoying
It looks like these controlled only do the number or temp (the temp bit is useless too). They are great bits of kit but the controls let them down from being much higher end
Thanks for video absolutely priceless particularly the temp settings thought my was faulty gone to the power mode as you suggested much better ticking over nice I've bought a nice 300 what power supply from Amazon works fine as we are docked in a field with mains hook up many thanks for the video 👍

I have a diesel heater that will not light. I've taken it apart three times it's been cleaned and was not dirty. The are hole next to the glow plug is also clean. Also installed new gaskets a new glow plug. Every time I try to start it it just smokes. I did notice when it starts now the fuel pump runs five times
My father in law has this system hooked up to a car battery. Have you experienced this issue or know of a way to get it to work while the battery is connected to the gasoline generator?
I'll have to check but it was ordered from amazon a couple years ago when I needed to power a water pump to protect against flooding. It is an ac to dc with a 5amp output to handle the higher current during the initial glow plug draw
trouble is using an a to dc conv is if powercut then heater cuts out with out cool down phase it'll end up damaging electrics. I've used small 12v battery with a small AA trickle charger for yrs no problem.
When I turn the power on for my heater. I get nothing to set the clock just shows p12 which is voltage. If I press settings (top left and ok nothing happens. Which also means I can’t set the timer. Confusing to say the least.
