When will this kit be available for sale?
Can I put those cymbals on my TD-17KVX?
Audio and video are out sync
I have a question...Can you buy this set for your studio, and swap out the sound module for the TD 50 module?
@@JoeHuman your kvx has two cy12c and one cy13r, and you want to add cy8? you can add it if you want since there is one more slot for trigger input (AUX)
He always looks like he is having so much fun. For whatever reason his prog rock essence shines through.
😂 what shines through? 😂😂😂😂
The fact that he can play into every set the way it would sound in its respective genre is something in itself.
Nick could sell me a cardboard box.
Agreed!...but if you buy the kit you'll get some for free.
Same here. Very likeable person.
Adam Arb89 ...and make it sound like a 3-pc jazz kit.
I've never seen Nick just pull blast beats out of no where during a product demo, awesome
I really love when this guy is doing a review. His happiness is genuine.
Nick could sell a snowball to an Eskimo in a blizzard at the North Pole
You’re the best in the business when it comes to promotion! I love your demonstrations!
Nick playing a blast beat put a huge smile on my face :)))
Such a great video, absolutely helped me decide to buy. Nick is AWESOME.
I want a Roland kit so bad, been saving up for it for months!
Now this is how you do a review! Well done!
Thinking about buying drums but not sure on which roland electronic kit to buy as i live in an apartment but i love how well he goes through the sounds and demonstrates the styles as well as he shows how much noise it makes without sound. Really helpful video
That was my last video before deciding to learn drum and buy this setup. Thank you for that!
Connected my kit to my MPC live and never looked back....got all the drums sounds I want
Buy far the best video out of hundreds on line,,,getting mine delivered today!!
Thanks for the vid and very nice drumming!
Applause!!!!! Hahaha, Congratulations, Roland and Sweetwater, where was this product when my brother first started, my Mom, would have loved this!!!!

Was that a blast beat? I love this guy so versatile
Excellente démo de batterie polyvalente NICK, et bonne sonorité Roland

I love the Metal blast beating Nick! 🤣🥁🤘🏾✌🏾
@Oliver Jones YOU SUCK

Blast beats! Yesaaaaaa!
Also which roland electronic drum kit would be best for playing metal. Especially danny carey kind of beats. If anyone knows please recommend. Would help me out alot. Thanks

I have the money for kvx. I am a beginner. Which of the two versions do I recommend for kv or kvx? .
can i use better parts of others roland drums? does it work?
I neard Nick play a little of the Phub theme 😎
When it will be available in India?
& Approx price?

what kind of ststem you are going through for sound
What Drum Amplifier is used to film these videos? Or what is the best recommendation for these e-kits - good quality?
Hello, Mark! Nick patched the TD07 module directly into a recording interface to film this video, but Roland makes a couple of awesome drum amps that would work well with this set. Depending upon budget and the overall volume needed, you could go with their PM-100 or PM-200. Both sound fantastic and are built like tanks. The PM-200 offers a 12” speaker and 180 watt amp compared to the PM-100’s 10” speaker and 80 watt amp.

@@sweetwater Thank you for the recommendation. I've done quite a bit of research - plan on buying from Sweetwater - and need help deciding between these two models: Alesis Command Mesh S.E. or Roland TD-07KX. Is Roland's quality appreciably better than Alesis? I'm just an intermediate drummer - will the extra 25 kits in the Alesis really override the Roland quality and lesser amount of kit sounds? Any guidance would be appreciated.
Hello and thank you. One question. What speaker/PA do you have attached to the set? any advise to which one to use?
Hey, Oriana. Thanks so much for your interest. We did not use a PA in this video. We took the outputs and went directly into a recording interface.
I would recommend the Roland PM-100 or the Roland PM-200:

Just bought this kit. Since the module doesn't have quick record capability, how do I record myself along to music? I have a laptop, but have never recorded myself playing. I've always used the quick record from my previous TD11.
Hey, T. Hope you’re well. Thanks for reaching out and congrats on the new kit. I hope you’re enjoying it.
That is correct, the quick record is not a feature on this one. The good thing is that recording yourself is pretty easy. You can connect via USB over midi to record to your daw, or you can record analog with an audio interface.
I hope this helps.

Please how much does it cost now, I want to buy
I started to play drums a while ago but never have motivation to play because my electric drumset doesn't just sound right and the module is hard to use and navigate. Is this a good drumset for someone who's just starting out like me?
The more expensive, the more complicated and a wider variety of mediocre sounds
Hey, Juuso. Thanks so much for your interest. Absolutely. This one has great features for someone who is just starting out. Such as bluetooth so you can connect your phone to play along to your favorite songs. Also, the module is super easy to navigate.
I hope this helps.

Any idea of how much the td-07kv module would cost ?? Currently have the Td1dmk & I’m thinking of switching the module.
Buy a MPC live it connects (USB) with zero latency...use modern drum sounds...create unlimited kits
Would this kit sound acceptable through a PA system? Or is it junky? We're looking to do some smaller shows without the hassle of transporting and mic'ing a full kit. Small stuff - clubs or small outdoor gatherings - nothing major.
Hey, Julian. Thanks so much for your interest!
Absolutely. It’s a great sounding kit. Roland sounds are top notch!
Thanks again.

Is Nick the best salesmen out there or is it just my impression?
4:30 sounds familiar innit
Is there how to assemble ?
How much is one of these?
Hi all.... Can someone tell me if you could add more cymbals ? I used to have a KAT3 PERCUSSION and it was very big drumset.. I could add splashes to the rim shots and china sounds.. can you do that in this drum set ?
Hello, Alexander! Yes you can! For one, you can assign any sound within the module to any pad or cymbal. Further, you can split multiple zone pads and cymbals and have unique tones between say, the head and rim, or cymbal bell and bow.
Thanks for the interest!
Cody Kraus, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1766, cody_kraus@sweetwater.com
r the bluetooth module can be function to the blutetooth speaker?
Yes. It is. But the sound comes out with bad latency.
Can you have rim shots on the snare and if so how do you put it on
Hey! Thanks for reaching out. Rim shots yes, since the pads are dual zone triggers. If you’re talking about cross stick, you’d have to activate it. Here are step by step instructions:

For $200 more you can get a td17 with two zone eight inch pads and a twelve inch snare pad and better hihat pedal.
$300 more. The low end td17 lists for $1299, ergo $1300
Hello, is it possible to change the sound of the ride, instead of it being crash to put a bell?
very good video greetings!
Hi, Maxi! Thanks for your interest. Yes, you can assign any pad on the TD-07KV to trigger any sound on the module. Also, the CY-8 cymbal pads included with this kit have two zones, so you could assign the two zones to two different cymbal sounds (a bell and a crash, for example).
I hope this helps a bit - feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again!

Thanks for the interest!
Cody Kraus, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1766, cody_kraus@sweetwater.com
Can we assign cymbals sound to any of the tom ??
i believe so yes. you can assign cowbells and splash cymbals to the rims of the toms
Is it quiet? I have no end of complaints playing my td 1 kv. Especially the cymbals. My wife and neighbour give me grief. What's the quietest ekit. Or do they not exist
If you are living in a flat it is impossible because the problem with neighbours isnt only about sound, most electronic kits sound less than TVs ,problem is the vibrations,so it is nearly impossible
Build a tennis ball riser, put the kit on it and change the hi-hat and kick pedals to a FD-9 and a KT-9. It solved all my issues with noise.

The ph intro 😂
Can i buy it and use it with a TD-11 or TD-15 Module ? Thanks

:)
Sounds like a good match for a church
Nick could advertise a tog turd and make me want to buy it
Are the sounds the same as the td-17 series ?
Hey, Marc. Thanks for your interest.
They are similar. They are trickled down from the 17. You just don’t get as many of them.

Roland is just way too expensive. Add an extra 400$ if you buy this in Canada. But as always Nick killing the kit!
Well as a drummer ive tried many nice Ekits and they all have their ups and daowns but roland is the top of the line. Sounds great, feels great, and are superior in durability...
if youre going to buy an electric drumset, i wouldnt consider anything other than roland. sure you can get a $600 alesis, but it will 100% break in a short period of time. Roland has the quality and durability thats necessary
I feel Yamaha has really stepped up their game...
Us pedal included?
The kick pedal isn't include. But the hi hat pedal is.
Does this come in, "left handed"?
Hello, Sunny Bee! You can certainly set the TD-07KV as a lefty kit. The rack is symmetrical, so you can simple flip the components around to suit.

Price?
$1000 USD
Let's face it, I can't afford a roland fckin anything.
Hahahhahaha this funny
Beater off lol. But seriously man i want this!!!
I know that is not the most important thing in an e-drumset, but come on Roland. It is almost 2021, even 100$ smartphones have a big lcd-touchscreen. It looks sooo 1995 with that tiny mono-colored screen on the module. Even in bigger modules.
I like it :) gives it a nice old school vibe 😁
4:31 😏😏😏😏
Expect a call from me :)
No difference with a 12 year old TD3, except the name and higher price.
Except all mesh heads, USB port & Bluetooth. I don’t think you can subdivide metronome time either.
And new module
Sad that pads are still so small.
so you have to buy you own kick drum pedal, not a good deal.
So...no 3rd cymbal input for a ride. Got it. Meh.
Kind of pissed off, i just bought this kit and got mine yesterday, the way they advertise this kit looks like it should include a kick pedal, it is t very clear on that point. And the fact that there isnt an xlr? Why is there only audio input and bluetooth? The bluetooth and module are very dissappointing on this! Im thinking of sending my kit right back because its 2021, and i just sold an old 15 year old allesis kit that had a better screen and interface than this overpriced piece of crap. Would be nice also if they put clesrly somewhere that the kit doesnt come with a kick pedal, instead of advertising a kick pedal in all the photos and not really putting “no kick pedal included” all it says is “double kikc” not included. That is either false advertisment, or something is just wrong, because i thought there would be a kick included with that kind of a price and such a dated feeling module
Must be a war going on, with all that machinegunning! Roland should team up with Toontrack for realistic drum sounds... this is just more of the same plasticky sounds Roland has put out for decades... 😖
And for the price its rediculous. Having to use other virtual drum kits to get an actual nice sounding kit. Making “music” lol these sounds are so generic nobody wants to play the same pop stuff for hours, but they try to advertise all these other features and “customizability” psh, they just want to sell us the same old recycled shit
gg i just bought the td-17kv instead of this.. i hate myself
Why? Ain’t the 17kv meant to be more advanced than this one? I’m looking to pick up the 17kv too soon!
TD-17 is much more better, so don't you worry.
nobody should care how many "sounds" there are...is there one good sounding kit? It seems with this kit, the answer is no.
I never even care about the kits, I just want to know how well e drums like these work with programs like superior drummer or Steven Slate
If you have a laptop and one decent virtual instrument, there's not a single reason to care about on-board sounds. But if you don't have those, this module has absolutely crazy amount of customizability for the sounds.
@@eliteextremophile8895 Are Alesis kits good enough to use with a VST?
@@DrummerGrrrl yes they are
