This has been such a brilliant Lebanon series with the 3 of you guys!! 3 musketeers!! So awesome and done superbly! You guys are all such a lovely bunch! Lots of love and respect from UK
Not hater or anything. It's just I kind of find his show a bit shallow. Like at 18:45 you can see the lady flip the glasses (one of which is empty) and then at 18:54 Mark cuts off a scene (I'm assuming she wanted to drink water instead of Arak, then Mark or someone told her to drink a bit of Arak for the camera) so we end up at 18:55 where she has a VERY tiny sip of Arak when she later exclaims "Oh my gosh" and then gags at 18:58.Conclusion: If someone doesn't want to drink/eat something the basics of respect stipulates you let him have his/her own way.
I don't think I could love this particular video any more, it's not possible. Dying to retrace your steps on this video and experience this rich and amazing culture.
I’m really enjoying this Lebanon series. It’s really given a great insight into a country that’s off the usual tourist track. It’s fantastic to see the warmth of the people as well as the amazing history, and, of course, the food.
I love watching you have communal meals! I love the companionship, the sharing of good food, in a place that is so old and so precious to all of the world. Food brings us together, and erases the differences that we have built up. I love the history of all the places you take us to. Such a treasure! Lovely!
You need to try it, it will blow your mind. Lebanese food isn't spicy, its fresh and rich and you can have it also spicy if you want but it doesn't even need the spice because of the great flavors. It really is the kind of food you could eat every day, its so delicious! :) I think every human being finds something he likes in lebanese cuisine. Just when i think about the pine nuts meat balls, the rice dishes, the fresh salads, the bread, the hummus, the zatar paste pizza's, the chicken dishes, the breakfast dishes and the sweets, my mouth is already watering
Mark seeing the world through your eyes is one of the daily pleasures I look forward to. I think you are a treasure to the world.
