Lebanon is stunning. I was there about eight years ago, people were so welcoming and friendly, and their food is succulent. It was a revelation for a Norwegian like myself. Having spent much time there, I say it's a beautiful country that has everything a person could want. Dramatic landscapes, scenic towns, villages and beaches, a long history (an archeologists dream), and the most hospitable people you can meet anywhere. But unfortunately its also a land of contrasts. Sadly there is major corruption, poverty, injustice, pollution, and division. If the all the latter can be overcome, Lebanon would a paradise on earth.
Wow...much respect to Lebanon. I'm an American Christian and like what they've done for the Church there. I have to admit that I am taken aback by this. Glad I decided to learn more about Lebanon. Thank you!
Thanks. I'm Lebanese American (fully Lebanese by heritage). We are Phoenician Canaanites (proven by dna). Our ancestors were mixed with Greek and other European populations, so we are unique in the entire Middle East. Most importantly, our Phoenician ancestors helped to build the foundations of the West. This is according to historians, and they say this because they invented and spread the alphabet, ultimately to the rest of the world. We also created a maritime trading network that bridged everybody across the Mediterranean. And set up port cities in Spain, Italy, Cyprus, and North Africa. The Phoenicians connected people by way of trade. Our port cities of Beirut, Sidon, Tyre and Byblos were the Phoenician's homeland. I'm very grateful for you kind words. Peace and blessings.

You are doin😢g a great job by promoting 🇱🇧. I was there in May and from all my travels, it's a country that made it to the top on my list. Absolutely loved it and would love to visit there again. There's a lovely Silk Museum to visit. Unfortunately, the media has made this beautiful gem in the Mediterranean region appear as nothing but a mountain of dust but when you visit the Cedars in Chouf and the Cedars of God in Bsharri, you can tell it's a divine experience. The country is blessed with beauty, nature, amazing cuisine, resilient peopke and great vibes despite the challenges.
LISTEN! We are NOT Arabs. Can't you tell just by using your eyes? Do we look like Saudis or Yemenis? We are genetically a different population. We're a white Mediterranean population, born from the Phoenicians. The Phoenicians were Canaanites, and had Mediterranean DNA (Canaanite, Greek, Caucasian). Genetic studies have proven we don't have any Arab dna. Plus, Christians here don't follow any Arab culture. Even Lebanese Muslims have a uniquely Lebanese culture. So get it right, don't call us Arabs. We are just Lebanese. We speak Arabic yes. But that is not our identity, that's only our language. We also speak French as a second language and English. These are just languages. Our identity is Lebanese.
@@freepaganPhoenician, isn’t that the bullshit Christian Lebanese keep bringing up all the time? Meanwhile most of the Lebanese they claim more identity from declaring their religion rather than anything else. Isn’t this why this country is fundamentally broken?

As a turkish , I really admire Lebanon and i live in a coastal city nearby Mediterranean Sea called Mersin . I heard that parties in Beirut are very entertaining and famous so I’m planing to visit there soon
Thanks for sharing!
I was in Beirut in the late 70s, it’s a fascinating city with beautiful and friendly people. ❤️
Thanks Malini, Truly enjoyed your tour of Lebanon. The food looks amazing!
Malini i love your videos, thank you for sharing such a beautiful video about my lovely country,
hope to see you around and meet next time you’re in Lebanon❤️
You are doin😢g a great job by promoting 🇱🇧. I was there in May and from all my travels, it's a country that made it to the top on my list. Absolutely loved it and would love to visit there again. There's a lovely Silk Museum to visit.
Unfortunately, the media has made this beautiful gem in the Mediterranean region appear as nothing but a mountain of dust but when you visit the Cedars in Chouf and the Cedars of God in Bsharri, you can tell it's a divine experience. The country is blessed with beauty, nature, amazing cuisine, resilient peopke and great vibes despite the challenges.
lebanon, amazing country, very beautiful, thank you for sharing this amazing video, friend❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love to Lebanon from Pakistan, jewel of Arab world.
@@freepagan well said brother love from INDIA❤️
@@freepaganWell said. It is crazy even Egypt they called it Arab but in reality Egyptian are African.
@@freepaganPhoenician, isn’t that the bullshit Christian Lebanese keep bringing up all the time? Meanwhile most of the Lebanese they claim more identity from declaring their religion rather than anything else. Isn’t this why this country is fundamentally broken?

We're a white population also, since ancient times. Your people in Canada would do well to recognize that a bit better.
