This video is an example of development of video games as medium - not only games itself (technical progres), but also the presentation of new games (aka trailers). Originally, this video was created as an example for the course "Games and Digital Culture"

Love how this video still isn’t outdated
Watch elder scrolls 6 end up just being another re release of skyrim.
I'm joking but honestly it wouldnt suprise me if it was true
Well there's Elder Scrolls Online now, but yeah, considering it's been almost 10 years...
@Liam Bartlett I really don't get why so much hate goes into ESO. I love it... well, it's not as immersive as other TES games, but imo is the most complete. I already have more hours played in ESO than in any tes game, and I'm not even in 10% of all the content. lol
Love how to comment still isn't outdated

This one aged exceedingly well. Unfortunately
Imagine how hard the internet will explode once the TES 6 trailer comes out
And I quote "Many many years from now"
TETHYS Yeah i know.. :'(
Bigger than Fallout 4
It'll break the internet
Internett already exploded to bits when Call of Duty Infinet Dislike trailer dropped!
Bethesda used to make like 2 games a year. Now the make two games every century.
3* (games a century)
That is strange when you think about it, it's been 9 years apparently since Skyrim wtf.
You would think that it would make more financial sense to make games more often but still to a lesser extent than like Activision and Call of Duty games, which is like an annual release >.>
@@deadbydash9074 The fanbase for TES is a unique one in the sense that it's essentially 90% community driven with mods and stuff. If Skyrim didn't allow for modding then no doubt that game would've been dead by now. The modding community is basically the only thing keeping it alive and it's hardcore fans.
They fuck their games with bugs and glitches so it's better if they take time
That's just games in general though. As they got more and more detailed, they also started taking longer to develop. You look at the 8-bit era, for example, and the devs could churn out multiple games every year.
I still get chills for Skyrims trailer especially the first initial "Fus Ro Dah"

Skyrim is the game that taught me how to speak english. i started playing in 2013 or 2014 when i didn't even know a word of english
Skyrim is the game that taught me how to speak a language that doesn't exist
But dragon toung should exist

@efe berkay köroğlu I just want to know What language you were speaking before you played this.

Okay I'm american and grew up speaking English, but the fact that this game has taught people how to speak english, is one of the coolest things ever
Combine Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim and you get the perfect RPG. A man can dream.
YEA! amazing colors from Oblivion Perfect fight system from Skyrim and storyline from Morrowind!
Nie polubisz tego kanału I haven't played through Morrowind yet but I have heard the story is phenomenal. I do hope that for the next game's graphics it is a mix of Skyrim's realism and Oblivion's beautiful colors and goofiness.
Jmack16 You should go play Morrowind. If you can stand the graphics, it's a really great game for any fan of The Elder Scrolls to enjoy. Just don't expect too much. Even I find it a bit difficult going back after having played Skyrim for so long now.
Bryan Vallejo It seems really fun. I don't mind the graphics I think they look nice. I did have it once and I played it for about an hour but then I lost the disc. :(
Jmack16 I'm pretty sure you could get it off Amazon for 10 bucks or so. It's pretty old. I might be wrong though. If you do get it, mod it so those damned cliff racers spawn less xD

MGTOW STR8UP yeah, its a great trailer. and the game actually looks like that, that can not be said for the blizzard trailers.
MGTOW STR8UP Even though I loved the vanilla ps3 version, I play on PC now. I have no mods that change the game a lot, just lore friendly mods and what not. I still want to get that rush of when I first ever played it on ps3. And the trailer always makes me feel like I am out in the cold, adrenaline-rushed and ready to kill a dragon

Concept:
Play through all 5 main Elder Scrolls titles one after the other, as characters in the same race with the same surname.
Create the legend of a family whose name is synonymous with salvation all across the Empire
Genius
Good idea
With the first 4 games in the series only being over the course of a few decades, the Hero of Daggerfall could be the Hero of Tamriel's child, and the Nerevarine could be their younger sibling. The Oblivion Hero could be the child of one of the siblings and therefore the grandchild of the Hero of Tamriel.
But following the Crisis, the family kept to themselves, and Tamriel went without heroes.
But then, centuries later, when disaster struck again, even greater than before, and great chaos descended on the nation of Skyrim, a new hero arose, descended from the Heroes of the End of Septim, with a strange and terrible power that he would use to continue the good work of their ancestors, and give Tamriel back their hero
I would really like to do that, but skyrim is too boring to play through

When Morrowind came out, people said it was dumbed down, and it missed so many things from Daggerfall. Now, people hate Skyrim and praise Morrowind. And I am 100% sure that in 10 years when TES VI (or VII maybe) will be out, everyone will hate it and say that Skyrim was the best game ever..
People tend to remember things from past more positively than the present.
@Kevin Kim Exactly, like when I did a replay of Skyrim on PC and realized how fucking boring the game actually is.
@@Land07 That sounds like a personal problem. I couldn't ever find Skyrim to be boring at all. Then again, I'm a lot more patient and open-minded than a lot of gamers I tend to meet, these days, (and people in general, for that matter).

I remember back when Morrowind looked better than anything we'd ever seen
Morrowind was visually revolutionary, but the gameplay was kinda clunky. It was Oblivion where they really got everything right, and pulled us into the game.
Yasu Yuhara The game came out in 2002, and personally I think many of the n64 games prior to 2002 look a lot better than morrow wind. Look at sm64 that came out in 1996 - that game was evolutionary to gaming as it utilised analog sticks for movement and showed how efficient movement in a 3d environment could potentially be.
@@Sixty4Horses It looks better because of aesthetics and artistic style. It's more cartoony, while Morrowind was going for realistic. Compare it to N64 games that went for the same thing.
TheAbsol Yeah, but imo I would rather play a game with cleaner movement and rendering rather than better lighting and visuals. I was a kid back when I played on my n64, playing games like DK64, Banjo Kazooie and SM64 which typically looked nicer (in terms of rendering) than most other games such as Zelda which looking back on I find clunky. I have strong nostalgia for those games I played so that probably makes them feel better for me.
@@Sixty4Horses I agree. But we have the tech for both now. Bethesda just needs to put in the effort to make a game good at launch that doesn't need a day one patch that's bigger than the game itself. Awful practice.

All of the Elder Scrolls games are great, and I love them. But it's not always the story or gameplay that captivates me. It's the freedom and the openness and the scenery. Every one of the games is beautiful in their own way.
@Mr Culec Have fun knowing you're one of the few people with that opinion.
(Though I agree with Oblivion being streamline-y.I share that unpopular opinion too lol)
@Mr Culec Oblivion is awesome. Even though the series got streamlined for casual fans, what the game achieved at the time was great.
Fun Fact: In the opening for Redguard, there were books that had the titles of the next games; Morrowind, Oblivion, then...Somerset, which never happened. Instead it was Skyrim.

Liam Sutton Wait, you ARE Tamriel?
I can't see how anyone can hate on Skyrim. There's just so much that was put into it. The scale of it is bigger than any Elder Scrolls we've seen before, the gameplay is no doubt satisfying, and you always feel like you're on some kind of adventure making memories with the almost endless number of quests.
I'm not gonna say a lot about the graphics even though it's phenomenal how they were able to put so much detail into everything for a game that is the size it's at.
But, for some reason people are so quick to compare one game to another that they won't even enjoy a game for what it is by itself. I honestly can't see how you could get bored with the game, seeing as though you have so many places to explore, all these quests to follow, and so many things to work towards.
Sure, it may not be perfect like some of you overly skeptic people were expecting it to be, but when you look at the absolute scale and all the effort you can plainly see put in every location you go to....it's ridiculous people are even complaining at all.
Honestly, I think Skyrim is probably the most impressive game I've seen get pulled off when you consider just how much they've done in a game the size of a small state/country that was released in fucking 2011.
You people can get so picky and unappreciative....
+BloodMoonBlade 1-They compare games because Skyrim fanboys tend to talk trash about the rest of the Elder Scroll series, which makes Elder Scroll fanboys get mad at them.
2-The quests get repetitive after a while. I'd rather run around the huge map than do fetch quest for a NPC I'll probably never meet again (I'm playing as the dovahkiin , not a paperboy).
3-You forgot about it's bad points in your comment, though. One of them is the horrible story.
+lorenzo romano Sorry for the length of this, but this might be the last thing I say so don't worry:
I do understand when you've played almost all the good quests you're pretty much stuck with the bad ones or just ones exactly like what you are referring to, but I found nothing horrible about most of the more important quest stories. The main story just was what it was, nothing phenomenal in the grand scheme of things, but it wasn't horrible and there were some twists and turns taking you a number of places Skyrim has to offer, really giving you that sense of importance and adventure.
For me it was more about the adventures and the places it took you. I mean, you just had fun with it if you kept an open mind and a thirst for the experience of the game.
Because, even if some of the quests were meh, you had fun exploring places you've never been before and fighting your way through a variety of many beautiful places with interesting level designs and natural locations.
For a game of this size, you can't really complain about too much, because there are tons and TONS of stories out there. Hey, even if there were ones that sucked--the fact that they put the time and effort into making sure everything you did had at least some kind of story to it just makes the game feel even more like it's alive.
Of course there are gonna be some bad apples in the bunch, but so many memorable quests and stories are out there as well. There are a lot of times I find myself keeping certain saves just to replay those quests or specific parts again.
You can't always expect perfection out of a game, dude. Instead of setting your standards so high and getting skeptical about everything, just experience it with an open mind and you'll find yourself having a lot of fun. Same for any game.
Too many people are concerned with bandwagon opinions and they all try to compare this to that and it's sad. I say take everything as its own experience and have an open mind, with video games AND real life.
You'll find you gain a lot from those experiences and learn to respect things a lot more :)
BloodMoonBlade "Respect things"? No, you've got it wrong. I just pointed out some things in your comment, that's all. I do like all the games from the Elder series, after all, since each one has its good points and its bad points. Please, don't put me in the "angry kid" category.
Anyway:
"The main story (...) but it wasn't horrible (*I completly disagree because I disliked it, but everyone has their opinion on this matter*) and there were some twists and turns taking you a number of places Skyrim has to offer (*which a lot of times meant going to the top of almost every mountain possible, which at the same time meant spending 30 minutes trying to get to the top of it*).
"Instead of setting your standards so high and getting skeptical about everything-" *Like I said, I don't really care. I like the good points this game offers. When I get bored, I just mod the heck out of it just because*.
+lorenzo romano You make it sound so tedious, but the fact that the game forced you to walk to certain locations at the beginning made it more immersive as it introduced you to the world. On the way to each of those places, you were exploring other locations along the way, taking in the nature and scenery, and facing different beasts and enemies along the way.
Plus, the main story didn't just take you to high mountains. That was what, like 2 times? I remember going into tombs, caves, ruins...nothing was repeated too many times in the main story because the story itself needed to advance. However, I believe the main story was somewhat of something to show you around Skyrim and give you an idea of who you are and what kind of adventures you can set out on even if you weren't too thrilled with the story.
Also, the DLCs made the game even better. Dawngaurd's story and additions to the game were made to give something to players who were pretty much done with the vanilla game and wanted a different experience with a different theme and focus (Fighting for or against the vampires). The fact that you could pick a side and it effect the rest of your journey was really nice, and it's great to see more of that in the game. Dragonborn was pretty great, too. It even added an entire island to explore and a new setting for a new story.
I'm just trying to defend the game as it is, but there's nothing wrong with modding it either. In fact, that's honestly the greatest thing you can do with it if you aren't too pleased with the game due to it's massive modding community creating countless things to choose from.
Getting cooler and better weapons, armor, and overall modifications to the game made it feel like you could look the way you want, see the game the way you want, and practically do whatever you want.
But if you were someone like me, first playing the game on a console, you'd understand just playing and appreciating the game as it was. And.... apart from it's minor kinks and inconveniences--it stands as one of my favorite games of all time and created a lot of memories for me and I think that's what really matters.
+lorenzo romano the elder scrolls skyrim is just as good as say the elder scrolls morrowind now coming from a heavy lore nerd like me I would say they are all pact with lore and rich with gold now elderscrolls morrowind, oblivion, skyrim. are all awesome games to me because they each have the lore follow on and what not

Elder Scrolls V doesn't follow the real gameplay, but it follows the game's graphics. Well, most of the trailer was these cinematic based from the game, but they did show us real gameplay,.
All tes games are different; that's what makes them special. People should be happy of this but instead they just blindly hate anyone who has a different opinion. If all tes games where the same stuff, would it still be fun?
They all were kind of forced to change and evolve. It's not an RPG series like Pokemon, where it can get away with keeping the base concept. From what I hear, Arena's combat is _incredibly_ dated. Pokemon used the Final Fantasy system, with a lot of tweaks and modifications, while TES went for action adventure. Final Fantasy was forced to change a lot because it started going for action adventure 6 onwards. I expect(more hope) change in TES 6, since 5 had a lot of imbalances. If they actually take time to polish 6, then the formula probably won't change much, since hardware has gotten pretty powerful.

If I had a PC back in 1996, Daggerfall would have blown my young mind.
Those earlier TES games were initially really boring, clunky and clearly made for D&D super nerds. Anyone else at that time was unlikely to stick with it long enough to really enjoy its complexities and detail, especially considering the amount of crippling bugs.
Back in 96 anyone with a half decent PC who liked video games was far more likely to spend their days playing Diablo.

Your fruends said that? Lol that would be funny.
This is unfortunately true
Makes me cry
Those who said that must have been new to the game because they play TES 5 without playing the other TES...
That's so fucking true
It annoys me that people who prefer the older games feel the need to hate on the newer ones. I love all of them. I'd say Morrowind is my personal favourite, mainly because of nostalgia. Oblivion and Skyrim were still absolutely brilliant and have successfully carried on the elder scrolls series. People like to say that the elder scrolls has gone majorly downhill, but I disagree. Skyrim and Oblivion both made improvements, besides the graphics. Oblivion had the best environment (in my opinion) along with the Shivering isles being the best Elder scrolls dlc period. Skyrim had loads of crafting, the ability to become a normal citizen (good for the role playing aspect) and the best crime system. The later elder scrolls games have stayed true to the series, and have the same amount of effort put into them. Other once great franchises get churned out every year nowadays and are rushed. Fallout and TES are created with quality in mind, not quantity. That's one of the main reasons they are so great. They all have maximum effort put into them. There's a reason fallout 4 took so long and TES 6 hasn't yet been shown: they have not been rushed like other franchises, such as COD.
Fallout 4 deserves to be hated on. Skyrim on the other hand is a great game, maybe not the best, but it should not be hated on as much as it gets.
Tetriz Demon I loved morrowind, still the best one so far. However oblivion did manage to do some good to mprrowinds stat system where they gave perks at different stages. They messed up with how easy it was to find "rare" armor as well as hand holding through quests. Skyrim didn't help thi as they took out the attributes all together and put in a pretty bad system imo but they made up for it with a brilliant idea of stat trees. Still Morrowind has the best questing hands down as well as an awesome main story. Its combat is pretty bad but thats because its stat based which makes it a ard grind. Skyrim is obviously beautiful and has a great way to manage skills but ultimately its way too easy to become the best and have great items. Oblivion is a weird mixture of the two but had one of the greatest ideas: the gray fox.
And so do the rest
Elijah Snoddy its annoying, I just never like how its intensely rpg like where there is a percent chance to hit. I always hated using boys and stars for this reason

***** 15 hours on TESO and i really like this game, but i just compared it the old Elder Scrolls ^^
+Le Furet à mesure To be fair ESO isn't a "proper" Elder Scrolls game, it was an experiment that has been confirmed to be unrelated to the Elder Scrolls franchise. It was even made by a completely different developer (developed by Zenimax and published by BethSoft, where other official ES games are both developed and published by Bethesda).
+jakemichie97 Poor decision to give it to Zenimax, they had no idea what they were doing, I'd say the experiment would've worked fantastically and could've potentially been the best MMO ever if they got better developers that knew how to make a proper MMO, Zenimax fucked it up completely and I doubt they'll ever get another opportunity to make an Elder Scrolls game.
+Marius - Contes et histoires de Tamriel Your comparing an MMO to a singleplayer RPG. Not quite fair, is it?
+Endangered Vanchicken I have played it... Lvl 23 Dark Elf in the Ebonheart Pact.. I'm going to be honest this game really just needs to stick to its rpg elements. The main Molag Bal is on and off constantly and there is still plenty or bugs to take care of. I do like the element of free travel and the war story line isn't bad but it still just doesn't feel right...Idk I honestly feel like TES needs to stay in the rpg aspect
10 Years later and this video is still relevant... still no release
I've played Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim.
Even tho I enjoyed them all. I have to say that I enjoyed Morrowind the most. The Storyline was great. My favorite weapon was the Spear "Which I do not know why they removed it." The way of using armor parts in Morrowind was great. Right, Left Shoulder pad or glove just appealed to me. But I want to say that Skyrim is probably the best one. Its all about improving right? They pretty damn much improved in that game. Graphic wise, Combat wise, Environment wise.
This is my opinion of these games. Dont have a lot to say about Oblivion except that it was fun.
i perfer oblivion better, maybe caz it is my first RPG game, the open world, gate of hell, brilliant story line, i love this game which bring me in the world of magic and adventures ,the whole world that u can descover,i have to thank oblivion for giving me this wonderful experience! and i really want my kids in the future could have the same kind of gaming experience ,which is different than those IOS games
Agreed on that last part!
I started with morrowind but oblivion is my favorite. Maybe because i was still very young when i played morrowind and i felt a bit lost and wanted a bit more variety in the landscape (although it was beautiful!) was still my favorite xbox game. Oblivion really captured me as I felt people had such personalities and the map I loved. Landscape was beautiful so many more reasons i love Elder Scrolls in general, don't get me started on skyrim
Thats nice :) I pre ordered TESO and been in every Beta and not in the early access. Im looking forward to continue playing it. Its going to be interesting to see if I will stick to this game. Im already addicted. I hope it stays that way haha.
Aaah, the nostalgia, right now I'm playing skyrim as a mystic knight character (If you're asking yes I played morrowind and oblivion). I'll have to say my favorite is oblivion because the people had a lot of pesonalities, the storyline was brilliant, and for a more personal reason, it actually made me a really good friend. long story short, he was the only guy in school who played oblivion besides me, we shared tips, helped each other out, and became friends.
Oof, last one gave me chills. I started playing Skyrim last year and I love it! It's amazing to see how far video gaming has come.
I don't understand many people who comment on which TES game is the best. It's like you have to love one game and hate the others. Doesn't make any sense to me to see so many people arguing and getting confrontational, especially since it's the same franchise and that we're all fans of it, no matter which game we prefer. I think it makes sense for most people to love the first TES game they ever played. It's like the first music band you ever became a fan of, or even the first love you had lol, there's something special about it, and even the flaws it might have don't really matter to you.
Personally, I discovered ES with Morrowind, so it'll always be my favorite. It took me a while to enjoy it though, because the game doesn't hold you by the hand like Skyrim. When you first play it, it's not easy. You end up in a small town and after a few minutes, you're basically left all by yourself and since you want to get some action, you go to Balmora on foot and usually that first adventure ends up badly; You either get lost and reload, get chased by an army cliff racers or get raped by a bonelord or whatnot in some random tomb. Unless you search for info on the internet, there are many things you have to discover by yourself. I think it's one of the main reasons why it's a special game to me. I liked the fact that you could actually lose a quest item if you dropped it by mistake, or that you could kill anybody, including main quests characters and thus fucking up the whole main story. Also, it's one of the first games which really introduced and enforced modding, and it gave the game so much longetivity, especially for a game released back in the early 2000's. Most RPGs were extremely linear back then. It was just point A to point B. Even Baldur's Gate 2, one of the greatest RPGs ever which was also released around that time, didn't have that depth of possibility.
I think that those who discovered TES with later games like Oblivion and Skyrim can't be expected to love older games at every turn. It's like Ocarina of Time or Final Fantasy 7. No matter how much you want to love the game, you "had" to be there when they were released in order to know how good they were. It's kinda like old movies or old music bands. Of course you can still appreciate old stuff, but you'll never entirely understand what the fuss was all about. Video games don't age well no matter how good they were back in the day. Of course, many games remain great over the years, but the quality, especially in terms of graphics, can't be compared with today's games. It took me a while to finally get used to Daggerfall, for example.
Now as for the next Elder Scrolls, I'm crossing my fingers so it can be in a hot place, like Elsweyr maybe. It would be a good idea because we've had a very cold place in Skyrim. It would be cool if there were some kind of bosses like Skyrim's dragons though. Giant sandworms like in Dune or something. Would be pretty cool to hunt in the jungle too.
You can love one most, others less. That's why everybody shares their opinion which was the best
Ramiz S
Yeah but from what I read in the comments, a lot of people were arguing, not even debating. Some of the comments are downright aggressive!
The Flaming Pike how long did it take u 2 type that lol
I agree with you about "you had to be alive at the time where the older games got out"-thing.
No wait, i agree with fucking everything you wrote down. I also started with Morrowind back then when it got out and what you wrote just is *THE* exact experience i had with this game (well, except that i didn't like killing quest relevant NPCs, even as an accident and the same goes for quest items, but whatever lol).
Morrowind is like the one game, which really had something you can call "a soul". The way you could fuck up in this game, just turn this around! You could also gain so much in everything when you just knew how to do it right.
And of course there were the Cliffracers. My god, how i (and i think everyone else, too) hated them to death, because they really came at you more brutally like the Flood in Halo: Combat Evolved (which kind of is a good reference here, since both games came out at nearly the same time, being XBOX launch titles i think).
They were so annoying back then. But everytime i see a Cliffracer or just hear their shrieking sound, i just have to smile, because of all the memories. For me everything Morrowind-related is so heavily tied, so heavily connected with these shrieking motherfuoOers.
Morrowind was such a fine game and still is today. But I don't mind Oblivion and Skyrim, both have their respective pros and cons, too especially Skyrim with it's massive modding community, which not only did grow out of the fanbases of the older titles, but developed a completely new fanbase, out of a lot of mainstream fans, too.
Skyrim brought everyone more together than a lot of other games claim to have done. Through fixes, patches, follower mods, quest mods, new land masses, house mods and not just the mods, but also the modders themselves, who also just are fans.
Skyrim (as Morrowind and Oblivion before) also let some people step out of the dark and into the light. If you hear or read names like Elianora, FavoredSoul, MxR, Trainwiz and a shit ton of other guys and girls, UA-camrs, Modders and a lot more, you just know where to put them. ... Okay, Elianora also made mods for Fallout 4, too and MxR isn't the most beloved UA-camr, some actually hate him and Trainwiz is indeed a very special modder, which even seems a bit weird with his train-obsession (obviously).
These people stick out of the masses and make a name for themselves and this is something, which wouldn't be possible, if we not had gotten Skyrim. Maybe it could have been possible with other games, but nobody knows for sure.
...My god, can it even get more deep? Yes. Yes it could. It's like war... War never changes.
The Flaming Pike my first TES game was Skyrim my second is Oblivion I love Oblivion 10x more than Skyrim

Maximum3D, 2002
And it kinda did
I fell in love with the series playing Morrowind. It still has a special place in my heart. I also feel that there were more things you could do in Morrowind that you cant in the later installations. I miss flying spells and silt striders and navigating via reading and landmarks. Now it's all fast traveling and waypoints.
Morrowind is a great game and the questing was much better in it. I really dislike the new system where all you do is skip all the dialogue and follow a map marker.
I never played Morrowind, but I have heard amazing things about it. I personally loved Oblivion, one of my favorite games I still love, but over all I love Skyrim, simply for the detail, storyline and quests, tons of new features, and of course, dragons and thu'ums!
Oblivion blew my mind away then skyrim ended my hearts beat after it couldn't take so much
Started on oblivion, morrowind, skyrim, daggerfall and then arena. Morrowind is amazing game its a great example of an rpg done right you can certainly point out bad things in it but overall they done more right then wrong in that game vs the entire series. If skyrim blew your mind you have no idea how much morrowind will blow your mind apart
I started on Skyrim, then went to Oblivion and Morrowind. I have frequently heard that Skyrim’s quests were watered down compared to the other games. So I decided to check them out and I gotta say….that’s kind of true. Morrowind and oblivion quests were very interesting and fun. Although Skyrim is still #1 for me, I wish the darker elements of Morrowind were in oblivion and Skyrim.
The Elder Scrolls is an amazing fantasy universe. It has such a zest that even after completing the plot and side quests, you want to return to this wonderful world to explore. And that's cool!
I just tried playing Morrowind... I didn't really enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. The story is fucking great, but the gameplay itself didn't work out for me. I've played Warcraft and loved it but Morrowind isn't really what I expected... People say it's the best Elderscrolls game, but I won't lie. When a game makes me wanna play it for hours on end no matter what I'm doing then you can say I love a game...like I did with Skyrim. Go ahead, fire your hate at me
Don't worry I got ur back (loads up smg)
***** you're probably right
Buster Tomczyk The graphics bothered you, not the gameplay? I mean, if you use the Morrowind Overhaul mod, the game environments look pretty good actually. Aside from the NPC. I don't know, it seems most people that go to Morrowind from Skyrim don't like the combat system and sometimes reading all those lines of non-voiced dialogue. Or maybe the lack of objective markers.
dunnono00 I formulated it wrong. I can live with the graphics and I've given Morrowind a second chance. I'll tell you what I think after really trying the game
Buster Tomczyk Be sure to check out the Morrowind Overhaul if your PC can handle it. I know earlier 3D games can look pretty rough.
But whether you end up liking it or not is purely up to you. Sometimes nostalgia can get in the way of a proper assessment.
Why does the skyrim trailer still give me chills. Damn

They should add something to those fucking oblivion gates. I closed 5 and i was fucking done with them.
A remaster would take too much time. A full remaster on Oblivion would be too expensive, and the technology would be too outdated. They would have to build the game from the ground up, all over again.
You know, morrowind needs a remaster. I tried to play it, the story was fucking amazing but the gameplay drove me crazy and the graphics made my eyes hurt. I think it would be amazing for younger fans to have a morrowind remastered. I think they did an oblivion remastered though.
@@isiraratnayake9491 They haven't, and said that they weren't. Their script engine (and engine in general) is too outdated.
