It's funny I've probably played more of the golf minigame in GTAO than I have actual golf titles. They really are dry but fun in good spurts. Are there any golf games you'd recommend for like a long career mode, besides mario golf? haha Ah I just checked out Everybodys golf, that actually looks really killer
Everybody's Golf is the best option, the most recent one, you have a reasonable tournament/career type mode, good character creator and it's fun but challenging too. Enjoy.

This game looks boring. 2k is good at basketball games, was good at football, and they suck at wrestling games lol
I remember when they first did basketball games back in Dreamcast era, was much better back then.
