- Metal Gear Solid 2 - Solid Snake Speech "Start Over"
Hey guys, this is mohsin364 here with another great MGS quote video. I will be posting some quote videos on this channel as well as my main channel (later on), so stay tuned!
I swear this guy taught me more than any of my school teachers when I was a teenager.
i think snake has changed a lot of people life's i know he changed mine that's for sure
Absolutly. The passion David Hayter has put into the voice, what he said, just beautiful.
And then Raiden takes off his dogtag and you see your own name on it. And he throws it away, In hope of the future and stripping away his dark past. things don't work out so happily in the future and hes a little crazy but that Raiden game was pretty awesome lol at least he gets to have his family.
The interesting thing is this is also breaking the forth wall to the player about what to do after they finish the game.
Don't ... don't .... i'm going to cry
Why everybody dodges Solid Snake? Why is Big Boss here and not Solid SNake in the video? T___T, i love Solid Snake man, frget Big Boss at least when you make a Solid Snake video!!!!
The world changes by how much faith your willing to have. The stronger your faith and how much you show, the better what you believe will become.
Believe in your own justice!
COLONEEEEEELLL!!!!
A soldier talkin about faith! T-T
I'm gonna cry!
This video is simply emotive! ToT
The feels ...... THE FEELS !!!!!
That's actually a quote from Ace Combat 5 when Chopper is shot down. But I'm still clinging to hope of Hayter's return.
thanks for advice! for i think about it!
How the hell did you made this about Big Boss, mate?
He would never say something like that to no one, nothing to do with who Big Boss is.
@dasetman
hey, thanks for the comment, that's a good idea, i'll create subtitles with the anotation system, and see how that goes.
@RedClock974
Hey, the background music is "MGS4 OST Father and Son"
@AGAPPOWER, there is a right and wrong, but that's for you to find out for yourself. It's not simply about perception, but circumstances. A lot of stuff people say can sometimes be questionable, if not outright wrong. Some people blindly follow words or mimic reactions to words, without ever really understanding what the words mean in the first place.
Word on their own have no meaning. For example, 'two' could've been [///], or [////], instead of the [//] that most people are familiar with. Same thing with four or six. If all you do in life is repeat what everyone does, mimic everything someone says, everything is meaningless. All those words are just sounds with nothing to physically represent them, much like how dollars don't actually have value in them but what you're told. Police uniforms, military uniforms, all that stuff is just clothes. All these things we see have value now, because we've been taught to believe in them. Sometimes these beliefs are nonsense, sometimes these beliefs are based on things that actually work. Sometimes we believe just so we don't get shot in the face.
Right and wrong? Well, that depends on what doesn't get you killed, or what helps everyone else survive. Sometimes, it's all about what works, or what's left. Whatever you think helps you in life is what you'll inevitably believe to be right. But always be willing to question everything, even if you think it's good.
Never rely soley on the judgement of another person, even if that person, or entity, has an awareness that far exceeds your own (such as The Patriots). Worry about what's right for you, your relationships, and your life. You have your own challenges and burdens; who is anyone else to judge what's good for you? If you think they have answers, follow as you wish. If it doesn't work out, find assistance elsewhere. As long as you're aware of your options, and have the power to execute those options, you have a right to decide. Don't let another voice determine your path, even if society tells you you're unqualified.
Once you've become convinced in what you've found and believe in it, it's up to you to preserve what you've found. You can let it die out, or leave some evidence of it behind. What you believe may be questionable one way or the other, but whether it is good or not is up to the next generation to decide. Live out your life, find your own meaning.
i like this ..
thank you for sharing
I read this in Solid Snake's voice. Good stuff.
MGS1: Don't be chained by fate, but live happily
MGS2: Believe in what you actually think is right, and understand others' philosophies so you can think what's more right, and pass on your own legacy to the world
MGS3: Friends can be enemies, and enemies can be friends. Find humanity in every human.
MGS4: Even if it seems like life is hopeless and meaningless, you still have your life, so live on and use your time left wisely
MGS5: With all the pain inside of you from your past, maybe it's time to move on and forget about it
The military uniform is more than just clothes. Fucking civilians man
Hehe... I'm gonna miss that voice.
@jackofblades94 What? That was Solid Snake and Jack ( Raiden )
The music's beautiful! Anyone know where its from
"Father and Son" by Harry Gregson Williams. It's from Metal Gear Solid 4
I don't understand... Is snake saying that there is no right or wrong but how you view it? Can someone give me a summary of what is going on. I finished MGS2 on the HD collection and I didn't understand this
It means that if you believe that something is right then it is your responsibility to fight for it, others may see it as wrong but we must continue to fight for what we believe in.
