Great session but somewhat spoiled by having to manually skip ads throughout. Ads also stop the workout clock. Not ideal if you’re in the middle of a big effort.

Just done this one immediately after Si’s latest 20 min easy pyramid session. Felt so fresh after the 20 mins that it seemed like a good idea. Forgot how much of a grueler this is!
I was so excited about the new long workout I did it despite the previous tabata. I had to break the 12mins down into 6 2 mins efforts keeping to 10 but changing the gear it totally got me through. Thanks again to the gcn team with helping me to get into my wedding dress ❤️😊👍👏

totally agree about this. misogynistic overtones throughout this video, from sayings like this to putting the girls on the spot repeatedly, including not even being able to complete his commentary through the long set. then the lady who did take over was more accurate in describing the "10/10" effort than hank was. not a fan of this guy at all.

Great session! That long max effort was brutal, but really appreciated the on-screen timer/effort/RPM meters showing back in full for this one, was a huge help, esp for those longer sustained pushes.

My favorite instructor! I also love these longer videos. I wish the females participating in the video would actually participate. Getting them to engage with the instructor is painful to watch. If they are not going to participate or answer questions, why even have them in the video?

Yeah, even the 5 min at 10/10 is beyond my ability. I can only assume the watts for these long lengths would be far less then if you did 10/10 for 30 sec. For me I think I'll give it a go, but will replace 10/10 with 8/10. I would think holding that for 12 min would be 100% hard for me. Usually I can associate an effort level with a level of watts, but once it goes to long lengths, that strategy doesn't work so well!

That sense of dread that fell over the room as the twelve minute set was approaching… loved the longer video and your banter always makes the time go by quickly.
We'll see what we can do - whether any of the presenters want to is another question! A great way to do this is to do one of the shorter sessions as a warmup, then go into a longer 60 minute session, with a shorter video for a warm down - I hope this helps!
