David Brent is refreshingly laid back for a man with such responsibility.
Brent mused…..
Gareth: “when you next in…”🤣🤣🤣
Best comedy ever written, in my opinion
I don't know why but I like that Gareth, despite being obviously weirder than Brent, has friends and an active love life because he's willing to hang out with people on his "level", while Brent thinks he deserves a better "class" of mate and ends up with no one.
“I like your little beard”
29:38
When me and my mum first watched this episode and this happened.. Ricky Gervais standing up in that costume.. I think me and her laughed for about 30 mins non-stop. Hardcore laughter. The most hilarious thing ever put on television. I don’t know how the actors got through it. Must’ve had to record themselves staring while Ricky wasn’t there because.. 😂
It’s a good job Eric Hitchmo wasn’t present for the introductions at the beginning section. There’s a lot he wouldn’t agree with, especially in the workplace.
I like that scene where he's talking to the Swindon Lot and they tell him Neil is more of a laugh than him.
4 mins gone and im doubled up laughing , still ball breakingly funny after all this time
Lies.
It hurts so much to see this 😂
His Columbo impression is brilliant. 🤣
Yes, but I don't agree with that in the workplace.
The best of Season 2 is, in fact, just the entire season. Nothing funnier.
I prefer a flan
I felt the same when Boris Johnson got his notes mixed up and ended up talking about peppa pig
Even now, I squirm watching that first scene 🥴
Neil hadnt warmed them up enough
@@philauguste7310lunchtime gigs are the worst.
I forgot how hard this was to watch 🤣 but I love it
Seen this hundreds of time and I still cringe every time😅.... absolute genius
22:40 🤣 Such an unobvious classic
5:30 Is WHY you are here 🤣
Absolute comedy gold.
This wnkr actually exists in its thousands, that's terrifying.
I've been made redundant - huge cheer goes up 😂😂
Perfect with BBC logo at the top left corner lol (royal family joke)
Does the BB stand for bread bin?
And their liberal bias
@@GaryGoalsbritish biased corporation
18:42 I like how Tim is clearly unimpressed with the prank
Who’s been to the Coventry conference?
Yea but i didnt know he sounded like that.
@@bensmithkent22 He sounds exactly like that!
I've used the talking down Neil gave to Brent on a few occasions.
All he had to say was welcome all. lol
Well done 🤣🤣🤣
This hurts 😂😂😂
14:33 probably my most used line from the show.
A best of starting with Neil? I don't agree with that in the workplace
He is funnier…
Cancer is funnier than Brent @elfinzilla
@@elfinzillaI prefer a flan
@@paulpascoe663 You wanna try his lemon drizzle cake, it's even better
Brent really did think he was irreplaceable
erm, thank.. thanks David.
Neil - Almost the perfect boss realistically
Uploading the same video with a different title? I don't agree with that in the workplace!
Brent mused
7:46 some sound, friendly advice.
Don't know 😅😅
26:20 the most embarrassing moment ever commited to film
You just don't get this level of humour in the American series.
My sides were splitting when Gareth interrupts by saying, "...I dunno Jennifer. I could show you lots of [proof]...".
😂😂😂😂😂
What did the guy say at 25:13, and why was it offensive to tim?
He said “gone off Dawn now have you”, implying he’s given up on Dawn because Rachel has arrived from Swindon
I’ve got eczema and it’s definitely feels like a weakness!
@@nealadsett8484 "under weaknesses, you've put eczema" is one of my favorite lines from the entire show
Wish all bosses were like Niel.
Why? Neil would fire people in a heartbeat.
I would try to get the gum chewer fired.
The good die yoing
I got mouths to feed.
False. He's never come over a little queer.
Do it that way, if you like @@SkandiaAUS
This, only fools and horses and men behaving badly are my favourite programs to date
Cringe worthily brilliant 😂
Lunchtime gigs
He was funny though
@@tabularasa7775 Here's one I shoulda told ya
@@Metallex Is it bigger than the bread bin ?
@@tabularasa7775often an amateur will try and stitch up a professional.
Why did Neil say he'd just spent a year in Beirut !?
After Beirut, Slough wasn't so bad. You have to know Slough to get that joke.
Beruit was renowned for being bombed - A bombsite” as the expression goes.
@@maartenvandam344what’s annoying is Brent makes the same joke about Swindon. No one laughs
I would love to work in an office such as this. ❤. It would never be woke boring.
It's worth pointing out that he really was trying to perform a meaningful appraisal. A lesser boss would have gone along with Keith's 'don't knows' and considered it a job well done
He's looking for self acclamation in a positive answer from every question.. it's not rocket science !!
Worst thing about this channel they upload the same clips as last video.
Ikr? There are so many parts they could post that they they never do
It's very weird, just keep changing the title to the same videos 🤔
And thats the tragedy..
Kind of difficult with only 2 series
It’s called the best bits? 😜
As brilliantly written as it is I find series 2 unwatchable. Series 1 is funny, there is cringe but Brent isn't ever obliterated. Series 2 is about a man's world imploding, it's too uncomfortable.
pathos is strong stuff
Calm down mate its a show
No, series 2 is about a lazy, self-aggrandising, irritating twat getting his comeuppance. Plus it’s only a sitcom. You’re not meant to take it seriously.
You’re right its lazy. They need to learn from the American office UA-cam channel editors.
By having 7 more series to choose from
If it wasn't for ricky gervais and Stephen merchant there would never have been an American office
I cannot understand one word they are saying.
English clearly isn't you're first language then
I dont agree with that in the work place
They were haters in that first scene that never come over a little quire line was hilarious
Agreed, shit was off the cuff and funny
Yeah i laughed at the “15 quid in damages” bit
It's the delivery. A lot of the jokes would be good in the right context but his sweaty, desperate, graphic delivery makes it awful.
Agreed, I would have burst out laughing if I were there
The greatest Columbo impression ever!
Brent mused
