The dance has become a meme, but in the context of the show it works perfectly. Neil gets so much praise for his impressive, practiced routine that it riles Brent. Brent is fuming, says he could do so much better with practice, only when Rachel says "go on then", he thinks for a second but his anger and ego overwhelms him and he starts dancing, genuinely thinking it will be impressive. When the clapping stops, he gets even more furious and the dance becomes grotesque. I watched it when it went out on BBC and it was absolutely cringing to watch. What a fantastic show.

Brents face when sacking Dawn goes wrong is comedy gold.

Never ever get sick of watching this.
