    I am an Indian and we use amala in our day to day cooking. You get frozen amala in Indian stores. Which costs less than $5 a bag of 10. You use them by crushing them and sprinkle it on your lentils soup dal, sauted veggies. Use them wherever you use lemons

    It is just crazy that Doctors do not get nutrition training in Medical schools.
    Every doctor visit should include some nutrition discussion. The majority of the population is over weight or obese leading to high blood pressure, heart disease and cancer. Schools and hospital cafeterias should be leading the way to good health by setting the example of what is a healthy meal and teaching people what to eat and why.. Every person in the hospital for heart disease should have a nutrition class before being checked out from the hospital with follow up education and training in nutrition. Medicare and Medicaid should require patient nutrition education as part of their standard of care. Nutrition information should be run on the hospital TV channel.

    I'm supplementing calcium because of osteoporosis and vitamin K2. It's a recent addition because I'm scared of fractures. I've joined a gym a year ago but I'm not sure what weights to lift/aim for, and unfortunately the gym staff go through the motions but they're not interested. It's affordable gym and could change to another gym, pay double but no guarantee staff would be more interested either. Probably because when we reach a certain age we're invisible.

    I started adding cumin to my yoghurt when I was 16 on a whim. I actually really liked the taste of it and started losing weight, around 12 kgs in a span of 2 years.
    I didn't feel hungry until it was already evening but could never put my finger on what it was that kept me satiated for so long. Now I know that it was the tasty pepper alternative all along.

    • @brothermayihavesomeloops7048
      @brothermayihavesomeloops7048 9 місяців тому

      This comment is grossly misattributing a correlation to a causation. Some cumin in yogurt did not cause you to lose weight at the rate of half a kilo/1 lb per month, equivalent to a 10 calorie deficit per day.

      @@apteryx7080 Drinking bone broth for nutrients is like drinking sewage water because you are thirsty. You can get nutrients from bone broth but there are more downsides than benefits. No amount of lead is safe to consume.
