As the first person to sponsor a abdussatorov lecture from Ben I’m happy he has continued improving and is getting the recommendation he deserves. Go Sponsor!
I found this funny so I liked your comment before the video. Having just seen the relevant moment, it's even funnier, but I can't like your comment again :(
good timing for this given Nodirbek's elevation into the world top 10 yesterday! He's one of my favourite players and I really hope he goes on to become world champion. He's certainly capable and it's great to see him leading such a talented group of Uzbek youngsters
The last endgame I found very instructive, how black's king was simply chased all over the board, and drip, drip, drip white slowly bled black dry. Even with such little material on the board, how important king safely is!
Caught another one! My My BF? LOL 25:14 )Oh BTW, I sometimes stutter so no pun intended(. "Lift" in chess is most notably reserved for a "Rook Lift" and by accident for German speaking "Amercians". (married to eastern brides.) Confused? Well, as you very well know CHESS is very calculating and precise, howlever you above all as a teacher of your life's essence need this sintax awareness. Let me "expain", since your humor in word play is so well known and I, an Irish struggling poet attempts to give you a proper pantomimic crytic. Per A.I., In chess, the German word luft means "air" or "space". In chess, it refers to the space left by a pawn move that a king can retreat into. This space is usually created by advancing a pawn to h3 or g3, or h6 or g6 for Black. The purpose of this move is to create space around the king, especially to avoid a back-rank checkmate. This move can be made at any stage of the game. Ergo stop using lift for pawn moves that advance one space as if a two space pawn move has a specific name oppose to a one square lift? Expecting no RSVP, as this may be not be replied to by my mentor but is "en passant" by the readers and bypassed by you. BUT! maybe we aficionados could petition for "lift" being called the "Pawn Lift" per the premier pawn push. Now in all reality "lift" does mean to advance, so you are correct with vernacular speaking but CHESS is a very particular game that I advise to avoid it's use in order to not confuse your students. If you do choose to continue as old habits are hard to break then maybe this little antidote might make in one of your vidsessions as a diatribes. Maybe Karen might agree it is an interesting tidbit to include. "Ohmagine" the teacher learning from the student! Harrah!!!
I love Ben's lectures and his videos back from the STL days. What is up with the constant lip smacking ? This just started recently. Did you get a better mic? Stop it, Ben ! It's really gross if you listen with headphones. I can't be the only one.

Beware, spoilers for Columbo at 10:35
I literally watched an episode of Columbo half an hour before I started this lecture. Ben was right.
And I just wanted to watch another Columbo episode.
I'm angry now 😡
His resumé speaks the most about himself!
45:00 Ben working on his follow-up to his NYTimes bestseller "Who's turn is it?" with the sequel: "Is this move legal?"
I found this funny so I liked your comment before the video. Having just seen the relevant moment, it's even funnier, but I can't like your comment again :(
Thanks for the videos Fister Minegold
uptdate
he is 2764 and world N4 after winning Prague chess festival
I think we need a UA-cam short of Ben repeatedly trying to move the king into check. I demand meme!
Abdusattorov is currently playing in the Prague Chess Festival 2024. So is Maghsoodloo and we will see another matchup of these two players soon.
this guy is fucking tearing it, wow in the top 10 and a junior!
Ben clearly inspired Abdusattorov. He jumped 11 places to overtake the world champion in rating in the first tournament following this lecture!
Without further J'adoube is such a top tier pun
My biggest takeaway from this lecture is that it's Nodirbek, not Nordibek. I transposed.

Are you feeling fine Ben? Your left arm seems to be shaking at the beginning of the video
Please note 8:41 Using open file vs half-open file error was a head shaker. Are you fishing? LOL
How about a lecture on Zhansaya Abdumalik
You already did a graet players of the present on nodirbek few years ago . Should've done this on arjun erigaisi
you could've told me it's never too late to blunder before my first tournament Ben
Smh Ben 🤦
at 17:07, I was wondering why black didn't just play Kxf6. Turns out its the best move. I'm the best!
Get well Ben!
Esipenko is 21. If that's not early 20s, vut else?
When I'm not sending Ben my money on Twitch I'm working to earn money to send him on Twitch. I hope he spends every penny on something he enjoys
Ben talks about Hans Niemann at 4:22
Esipenko was born in 2002 :-)
I'm seriously concerned with his left arm shaking at the beginning of the video.
call an ambulance!
🎉
Imagine beating Magnus Carlsen
Before writing a comment win him in a game
