Not my place to say but that's just something which does not make sense. Chess isn't always about winning or losing. It is supposed to be strategical play depending on your elo, your opponents elo, time control and your current standing. Going all in brrrrrrrrrrrrr all the time isn't a good idea

Considering I've only been a chess fan in the past year or two, Nordirbek has been my absolute favourite player to watch by far, and I love seeing him continuously rise further up the ranks
Even more impressive is the fact that after doing all this ridiculous analysis and calculation, Nodirbek consistently has much more time on his clock than his opponents. No coincidence that it was Nodirbek who defeated Carlsen to win the World Rapid Championship (in 2021). Added the year in edit to avoid confusion
World Rapid Freestyle* Championship just for clarification -- which perhaps is even more impressive??
@@mileskelley9445 It wasn't freestyle I believe, but to me that's even more impressive considering his age and the years of additional prep and experience many of his opponents had over him.

@bluelanterns2589 Yeah, World Rapid Championship. He won the Rapid round Robin section of the Freestyle Chess Championship but Magnus won the whole Freestyle Chess Tournament and actually knocked Nodirbek out of the tournament. No shame in losing to the greatest chess player in history though.

Also chess doesn't show intelligence, at least in a traditional way. It's mostly memory and pattern recognition, which obviously require you to be smart... but only in those areas. Also you need to study the sh1t out of it
In Chess, probably true. But in other things in life, I doubt. Its like comparing yourself to a carpenter or a person who mastered playing a musical instrument. Heck, some people might feel the same way about us when we have a skill that they only dream of having. Its all relative, to me.
