    That last one "on to the hill", into Pu bu... For me it was so mindblowing and exciting back then when I first saw the chineses Tai Chi practitioner on youtube doing that like nothing!! 😂😅 Specially on videos of the Zhao Bao style... It took me some time to do that actually! ...Id like to ask if you have any video about Zuo pan bu, about what can you practice for feeling more confortable on that position? or maybe about the standing, which can be very tricky! This video was great Thank you so much Sifu Shirley!! 🙏

    Good stuff. I am 51, thank fully been involved in nei jia for a while, they do pay off as we age. I have met people half my age that are not as mobile or flexible. Love your content Shirley. Keep after it.

      Definitely! Thank you ❤️🙏 I turned 47 last month and internal practice has been my only practice these past 20 years. My external training in my 20's definitely helped build a strong foundation but I do feel the internal training is enough to keep strong and flexible with added bonuses only neigong can provide 😁

      @@AipingTaiChi Thank you Sifu. I hope we can practice together some day. I have started doing the tai chi set with the book on my head. inspired by you. only part one and two so far, OK. Regarding the sitting without hands and knees, I have started sitting on a low stool, as low and I can get to, and getting up from there using different width between feet (as wide a squat as I can do, and as narrow as stance as I manage) I am hoping to9 strengthen knees and lengthen muscles slowly. I plan to lower the stool with time. that the only exercise I can think of. Look forward to your vid/ I have been doing sitting meditation for many years, and it kind of left me with a big open mind and near crippled legs.

    No, not this, please! You have such wonderful flexibility, your squats are also deep and relaxed so it's easy for you. I think my big belly gets in the way when I try to get up from the seated position.
    Even when I was at my fittest and leanest, practising Kung Fu 4 times per week, I could never do a box-split. At 64, I've got work to do to improve my flexibilty, let alone prevent it from deteriorating more.
    Having said that, I don't stretch enough, so that's going to be where I have to start to apply myself more.

      😁 I really value Yi Jin Jing and other more physical Qigong routines to help with joint mobility and core strengthening which helps with stretching. Joint mobility and core weakness will be the main limitations to your range of motion in your stretches. But daily work will make a huge difference over time no matter what age 😁

    Hey why would you try to scare people? What if we can’t do it? 😭

    • @AipingTaiChi
      @AipingTaiChi  2 роки тому

      🤭 No need to do all of them. Start with just the first one :) The Brazilian said as long as you are able to sit down and get up without using your hands or knees, you will have money life expectancy so being able to do it just one way is good enough 😁

    It really helps if you weigh 104 pounds.
