Dude, legit just spent the entire day trying go get the bearing outer race out of the sleeve because I couldn't figure out how to remove the entire sleeve from the swingarm/differential...came across this video and less than 10 minutes later, had the piece out and ready to put the new bearings in...your video came in clutch man!
Hey Jacob, thanks for stopping by! Yes, if it is a Solid real axle Honda Foreman, the process should be similar. I found this video that could be of use to you aswell, it's for a 2006 Foreman. ua-cam.com/video/cVDX4HkVPf4/v-deo.html
Hey lucky, if I remember correctly it did appear to have a small lip inside(hardly noticeable, but either way I couldn't get it all the way down so I figured as long as it was in deep enough with the slow tapping, the tightening of the axle to the hub should get that final push needed to get it flush as intended.

No problem, that bearing was a stubborn one. I don't even wanna think about the other side's bearing 😆. Good to hear you got it replaced, happy riding!
Had a helluva time getting that bearing out! If you know of an easier way to get out a busted wheel bearing, comment below with how you did it! Np glad I could help speed up the process and appreciate you watching!
It’s the same from o1
What brand bearing should i buy? 2017 forman
I put the link for the one I bought in the description below the video. Brand shouldn’t matter much if you grab it locally.
Cheers mate!
Thanks for watching!
Nice video.
I was curious if that was just a cover over the axel.
Sure was, just a tube, pretty sturdy though.
I did mine the same way. I thought the piece you said to leave on to stop bearing was a piece of the old one.. Shit might be going back in there
Extremely helpful I greatly appreciate your content👍🏻
Glad I could be of use, thanks for watching!
Hey what is that little spacer piece called on the axel called
I think it’s called the stop bearing but not entirely sure.
Excellent video ! Wana make a right side wheel bearing video ? Haha
Haha lmfao! I got that bearing ready to go but we both know madness awaits in that rear drum brake! Thanks for watching.

Very helpful video, Thank you
You're welcome Sam!
How far did you drive in the bearing? Seems like there is no stop point in my axle tube

Your axle tube is flared out, bearing wear faster with flared out tubes
Thanks for the observation! So far haven't had any issues and have put around 400 miles on it since, but we'll see what happens.
what is the part number for the seal that goes in after the bearing?
