When can we get a megatron of that size? I want one that turns into a full sized rifle or a massive handcannon. Hold up, why can’t we get a grimlock of that size or dinobots?
Saw this video when it was published and knew I had to have one. Here we are on Christmas day and I've now opened him up. I truly did not appreciate Ben's struggle on some of these ratchets, they are tight! It took me a while to get things open and had some issue extending one of the legs. I am truly blown away by this piece, though I don't envision transforming him too often.
Price is $320-$330 at TF-Direct. They say they can't ship to the U.S. but the price is in U.S dollars so this is maybe a wink wink sure we won't sell to the U.S. By the way Ben this is the 1st time I ever pre-ordered anything and I did it because you're one of my favorite reviewers. well mine arrived today and even though i have had 2 hasbro mp10's , mp10b and then got rid of the hasbro mp10's to get the takara mp10 , also have sg mp10 and 3 of the oversized mpp10's this has still blown me away your reaction to this is justly deserved the thing is immense!!! i have hurt my back handling it lol btw its got tabs for the back on the retail version looks like yours were defo snapped off
This is why i love third party companies now. More quality less the price. I admit 300 is way expensive but if this is done by Hasbro i imagine the price being 500+ but less plastic quality without die cast
Just got my second one. I got the Lewin-01 Atlas Optimus Prime Ultimate Limited Edition which comes with the Matte Silver finish and I love it compared to my original which I sold for a good price. This one will never be sold due to the fact that a Lewin rep told me that once these sell out they are done making them and moving on with other TF items. BUT they are coming out with the trailer that goes with him so I WILL be grabbing that.

Wow! This is Awesome! Who would have ever thought we would someday be looking at a working 1/12th Transformer? I think the Toys Alliance one is as big as my collection (and wallet) can hold but this thing is incredible.

Being a truck driver I'd say that the truck mode is a legitimate 1:12 scale. The top of the truck should be 9 feet tall so that translates to 9 inches tall in that scale and if spiderman is a 6ft character, I'd say that's pretty spot on.
I hope you get one for your own! I had a scare with mine being that I noticed that one of the yellow hip panel plates where missing before I transformed him. The panel was hiding in the cab! Very funny OPTIMUS! Dude this guy is so heavy, I sort of hurt my back lugging him around sitting on the floor. Now the price...???!!! BUYING 3 MASTERPIECE OR 3rd Party Transformers = 1 L.R. MPPP-10 =EASY DECISION!

This thing is roughly 1/18 scale about the size of the 3.3/4 Gi Joe or Star wars figures. It would give my 1/48 scale Gundam kit a run for its money. Great review as usual.
I think it's taller than Fortress Maximus. Slightly unrelated, is it a good thing or bad thing when you start buying furniture to fit your collectibles?
More Impressive in bot mode. Also, it's not the only 1/12 TF type. There's the underrated Akibaranger Machine Itasha, (based on a Toyota Prius.). No battery gimmicks and whatnot. But easily one of (if not) the coolest 1/12 transforming car out there. With opening doors, functioning seats, etc. No weird looking underside, with robot feet and arms showing. All parts of the bot are completely hidden from all angles. A great piece that most collectors ignored. Wasn't too much of a wallet killer either...(top of my head, I think I paid around £150 on preorder at the time) . Best thing, being a Figuart piece, it's perfectly scaled for most 1/12 figures.
Ben gave the weight and did a great review but I'm surprised he didn't measure its height or compare jt to Metroplex or Ft. Max but is Wei Jaing Omega 24"? Seriously I'm glad I saw this because I almost pushed the button on 18" Toy Alliance Op but it went from $175.00 to $200.00 and that pushed me past my desire vs price justification. I even excused the Mas-01 NON-transforming aspect for its size but in the end he just looked too stocky for me and I absolutely hated the Toy Alliance Megatron. I was also going to get the large MPP-10 because I wanted to replace my MP-01. And I knew I would be tempted to get the other oversized KO's that scaled with MPP-10 So that is a savings right there. So as far as money goes. $195.00-Toy Alliance- No-longer needed. $75.00- MPP-10 (When ordering from China)- No longer needed. $75.00 MPP-10 Trailer no-longer needed. All possible figure that scale with the the MPP-10-No longer needed. So the way I look at it this one figure replace almost $350.00 dollars worth of things I've wanted for my collection plus the possible over sized KO's. I WILL DEFINITELY BE GETTING THIS FIGURE! will be 100% getting it
I've been asking the same question and no one has answered or replayed. I thinking the autobot symbol from the MPP-10 trailer should work but that just a guess. Did you ever find out?
Ben your review seems to be the official one for this item and I got mine today but NO ONE will say where I can get an autobot logo for this large figure. Do you think that the logo from MPP-10 trailer Will work?

Could you explain to me why in some unboxing the object in question comes out of the box in the form of a truck and in others (with polystyrene around the model) it already comes out in the shape of a Robot? Wow! 300 isn't that bad! even if you cant "play" with it becuase of the size, that would be a great price for a statue of that size. And it comes with lights! I do want white thighs though.
OPTIMUS HEEDS THE CALL OF THE LAST RELEASED PRIME. I have to wonder how many Megatron's would fit those hands. Shipping must cost a small fortune. Is there much die-cast above the knees? It's incredible that they focused the weight so disproportionately to the legs for balance!

Isn’t it 1/12 scale? It has a Marvel Legend next to it which seems to scale with the Truck/Transformer and Marvel Legends are 1/12 scale
