Hey MachaZee , , I'm sooo glad this comes with true SPIKE figure 👍 , , , none of that awful SAM W garbage , , , Bay didn't like the Spike and Sparkplug dynamic , ,so we never got a true representation of that duo , ,come to think of it , I believe BAY confused 1980s show M,A,S,K, for Transformers , think about it ,Matt Trackers Camaro car and a Hog-nosed semi truck that converts into a battlestation , , , is some of this familiar ?? Probably Worth a Comparison Video , , think so ?? 👍😸👍
Wei Jiang produces some of the best transformers, often surpassing the quality of Hasbro/Takara. I've got a total of 4 pieces including this marvelous wonder and they're all super quality. Only thing missing are the badges, which can easily be remedied with some aftermarket stickers.
for the transormation of the legs, i think you can push the spring loaded button on the back of the legs to release the locking mechanism. hope it holds up in the long run!
This is my all-time favorite Prime. I got the trailer for him later on. It's just as bad ass as he is. You can get plastic autobot symbols that plug into the spots for them on his arm and trailer too.
Wei Jiang (I'm sure I misspelled that, sorry) puts out incredible bootlegs of all the masterpiece figures. I have ten masterpiece figures (eleven if you count the buzzsaw/rumble figures as two separate figures, just saying ten because it was two in one box), but only one that's an actual official Hasbro/takara release. The others are bootlegs, and nine of those are the wei Jiang ones, including this Optimus one. All of the wei Jiang ones are awesome, the non wei Jiang one was cheap and broke easily, but the WJ ones are great quality. And ya, this Optimus one is the best of the best knockoff MP from them which is saying something.

I am still trying to buy the MPP10 and the only versions I am finding are the knockoff of the knockoff type things from 4th party sellers on eBay / Aliexpress, where the matrix of leadership is the wrong color, and things are just randomly cheaper. Super sucks…
I have 2 of these and and the black nemesis/ white magnus color variants. They’re quite good but they’ve been around for years. There’s nothing new about them. This mold is just kind of old. I did however miss out on the evangelion variant. There’s so many color variants of this mold

This is definitely better than the official figure, the energon axe being a hard plastic rather than being rubber is much better, and the fact it’s under 100$!
Funny. I'm planning on getting an Optimus Prime. Not masterpiece because I'm poor. I'm gonna get the Earthrise one. It scales with my other figures, and is basically a miniature MP-10

A bootleg is a copy of an official product, while 3rd parties are usually their original creation. (Meaning they didn't copy it from an official product like Bandai, Hasbro, Mattel etc.) Like the First Gokin Shredder and Krang. Check them out. They're awesome!

I got plastic badges that pop into space on his arm if you remove the filler piece. For a few bucks on eBay. Even better than the stickers

You needed to move the "tanks" on its legs up and plug them into the small hole at each side. This gives the vehicle stability
