I'm glad this song was released, Venom was great by itself, but playing god is amazing and this one will please a lot of people. i didn't like it that much but I'm glad for others! Also, the song looks fun to play.

ok this is getting annoying right now, guys I love you all but because you have only heard Synyster do those things doesn't mean anything,there are guitarists that were playing like that when Synyster was a little kid, relax it doesn't sound like Syn,you jusr have little knowledge in that specific field and you don't know as many guitarists,older ones,please do some search in the history of the metal genre and come again

+TheGuitarLegend11 But theyre right, the solo is based on scales Syn also often used and is written in similar style. Syn is the first guitarist that comes to my mind when hearing the solo and I know music trust me.
Tom B. we all know music,but it's not about that,you might know music,but the music you know might be limited and might be only to a certain extent,which I think is the case,just cause a guitarist is using that similar style in his solos and bacause of that it has become kind of signature doesn't mean that other guitarists who use this style for a certain song sound like Synyster,you say that he is the first one that comes to mind,might be for you but that's where we come to the same thing I said above about your music knowledge being only to a certain extent,as you're getting older you'll learn more

May hem The album leaked but the deluxe edition tracks where not there anyway, I just listened to the song on the 14th, figured it out and covered on the same day. Like all of my other Venom covers I do it all on the same day, it's easier this way for me. I just have developed a pretty good ear over the years. Except for the solos, the rest of the songs are to pretty easy to figure out by ear, solos might take me a bit longer to figure out but still pretty easy. I guess it comes with years of playing. Thank you very much man, Switzerland is lovely!
wow! so admirable! insane! i wish sometimes i could live in the states....we don't have so big houses and rooms here in switzerland, so it's quite difficult to practise guitar or drum playing, so if I wanted to do so, I'd have to rent a "band room" or something ='(

khalid filali Well, if I was younger (when I didn't know much about guitar and music in general and I hadn't broadened my horizons) then I would say the same thing but those guitar licks, techniques etc have been used for decades in metal. It's just that A7X is so popular nowadays so it's inevitable for people to think the same thing if most of those types of solos they've heard is by Gates.. who incorporates them in almost all of his solos. So yeah, I understand why you would think that I think a few other people might feel the same way too but it's just stuff that have been incorporated in solos forever. Especially in Metal. I love Gates though. Rock out!

RAZOR AIAS The start of the solo is basically the same as Andy James did in his "Synyster Gates Style - Performance - Andy James" video. Look it up.
ArtificialCreations I had actually learned how to play that Andy James performance 4-5 years ago. It's totally not the same.
