Wiring Batteries in Series & Parallel - Increase Your Capacity - Wire 2 6V Batteries to 1 12V

- In this video I show a very basic demonstration on the difference between wiring batteries in "Series" and "Parallel". Both have their advantages, but I am finding that "creating" a 12 Volt Battery from 2 6Volt Batteries will get your further! Watch the video and enjoy! Hi nice job explaining how this kit works I would be using it only to provide lighting in my shed in the yard. So how would you handle the turning on and off the light! I noticed that you showed light switches on the corded bulb. If that is hanging up in the rafters, can I still get to that switch? Or can this be controlled from the controller box? Also can I safely turn on all supplied lights at once and how long could all lights stay on at night.

good video but you really didn't show how to CONNECT the 2 batteries together for parallel method, you just laid 2 wires across the terminals. which is fine but in reality when connecting batteries together via parallel method how do you then connect the terminal prongs to the RV because all 4 prongs already have connectors on them, in other words there is no more room for another connection to the terminal prongs out to the RV. I hope my question is clear.

On parallel, yes.
Does amp go up in series? Or does it stay at 4.5?
@@aweiskhan1290 In series it goes up in Voltage, NOT amperage. In parallel the voltage stays the same and the amperage goes UP.

It has a 5amp circuit breaker fitted. Btw they are in a series.
