On my first day of one of my jobs, I nearly froze to death. One of my male co-workers took pity on me and gave me his hoodie. I wore it for the rest of the shift, took it off in the car, and had it returned fleshly washed the next day. I might just be abnormal, but if you feel the urge to keep a hoodie for two weeks and flaunt how cute it is on social media than you are in fact interested, let's be for real.

I had a "friend" who did the exact same thing. She just had to be best friends with every guy I would be interested in. She was like this with every girl's boyfriend and we thought that she was just being friendly even when we'd feel uncomfortable.
She then went to another girl's boyfriend's party half naked when it was basically snowing. When everyone was drinking and having fun, she walked straight up to the guy's bedroom, took his shirt and wore it. When the girlfriend asked about it, she tried to pretend like the guy offered her the shirt because she looked too cold. Needless to say, she's not our friend anymore.

That friend was definitely interested in her man. However, I feel like regardless of whether or not the girl was interested in the guy, she should have been aware of what her behavior looked like at face value. Like bringing your friend’s man lunch and stealing his hoodie? If it was just a guy friend whatever, but she knows what she was doing. She knew how it looked and her excuses were so bad. Real friends would never do something like that. Even if there were no intentions behind it, it’s very obvious that it looks bad and like she’s trying to steal him.

After ending my friendship, last time I checked a while ago, she followed the guy i confronted her about on social media 😂 women’s intuition seem to always be on point. Its cut and dry. They all met on the same night out. Both females were interested, but only one shot her shot, while the other decided to pretend she was good with it. When everyone meets at the same time, everybody is fair game. BUT, the time to state your feelings is in that moment. She was most definitely after him. The sandwich is wifey behavior and as someone who takes a lot of pride in making food for my family, women take that seriously. We feed our men. We feed our husbands and we feed our sons. Our daughters too, obviously 😂 but you get it. Its a love language. No doubt. She may not have made it, but it counts.

Look, in relationships you need to respect boundaries. If your a girls girl you also respect those boundaries. I sit here and im like... would I ever do those things to a girls boyfriend or for another girls boyfriend... nope, because it's crossing a line.
Also, stealing hoodies form a guy is marking your territory. I remember when my husband and I worked together and there were a bunch of females I 100% stole any jacket/ hoodie he was wearing at the time. Espeshally is it were infront of women who thought he was cute. ( he liked that I was territorial in that way and thought it was cute and was 100% ok with me wearing his hoodie.)
It's also inappropriate I'd say to even to even go though him and text him, unless it's innocent and the wife or girlfriend is aware. ( like if she wanted to offer him a sandwich she could have easily just asked the girlfriend out if respect if he would like one.)
Also ( totally unrelated) I'd NEVER allow another women to fix my husband a plate of food or make him food or get him food. That is my job as his wife ( unless we're at a restaurant, or if it were his family or my family. ) It's like a wife thing that I do, it would be wrong if another woman made him food... I'd have to ask questions and I'd definitely not be ok with it.

Anyways I never thought him much of a man after ending our friendship in such a manner. By email. lol.

That's why I'm the "suffering in silence" type. The only person I talked most of my problems with is my mom. If you see me on the street or with friends you'd think I was the most annoyingly happy person you seen, when in truth I suffer from depression, and it's not "I read on the internet so must be true, depression" is "I was diagnosed by doctors" depression. I just keep it to myself because I don't trust people at the point of being honest.

If I can give my 2 cents I don't think the issue is you opening up but the frequency and the association with alcohol (alcohol exacerbates things for the listener and the teller. But even more for the listener who just want to relax with their best friend). I can imagine, if someone drinks they want to have a good time, relax. It is ok if once in a while it is associated with negative things but if EVERYTIME you meet that person it is the same pattern then yes it is toxic and can take a toll on the mental health of the one that has to consistently listen to it... Not saying that to make you feel bad or anything and not sure if that was a pattern with you or an once in a while thing (though the way it is phrased makes it seem like it is a pattern). I hope this make you self reflect too and maybe seek professional help for any issues you have like your friend did so that it doesn't affect future relationships. I also don't want you to decide to close up because of this, but honestly besides my parents and my best friend ( and it is not linked with alcohol, at that time we are both sharing and most of the time I end in positive note and we both cheer each other) I definitely do not repeatedly share the same problems with my other friends. Once is enough and I move on. Even my brother, I have noticed doesn't want to hear my problems even if he ask the question (it is just to be polite I realized!!)

Yeah, social media is a complex issue. I don't have any presence beyond my Twitter account and don't get into following women to thirst on them (I think I follow 9 people) but I am active enough that I'd probably see videos of me if they went viral (maybe, I don't watch that kind of stuff on twitter so I still might miss it). I'd certainly notice of Amala was talking about it ... wouldn't that be a hell of a way to find out.

And I am one of those people that will give food as a form of thanks because I don't think a simple thank you covers it. I have went and bought family and friends food for small things that I myself was not able to figure out how to do and felt that a simple thank you would not cover it. I had a friend for 12 years who was nervous about going back to her high school reunion because she said nothing in her life has changed since then and she didn't want to feel like a loser. I had just started dating my then boyfriend now husband and she asked me if she could borrow him so she did not look so bad. I said no. I thought she was joking. Many years later after we got married we started having troubles conceiving a child. She came to me and said I would love to help your family be able to have a child. And I said I'm just don't think I could do the surrogacy thing I said. Especially with a friend. It just would be too awkward. She said. Oh no I I'm not talking about being a surrogate she was like. Yes I would be the one being artificially inseminated but your husband and I will be the parent you get to be the stepmom. After that I started looking back and realized I cannot be friends with somebody that you cannot trust around your man. Not because I can't trust my man because I couldn't trust her. She used to talk about other people's guys all the time thinking that they were always hitting on her and I be like I don't know what you're talking about. I don't see it and she'd go. Yeah they're always playing games with me and I'm like not at all. And I used to try and tell myself repeatedly. She is really lonely and I felt bad for her and I would pity her and so I kept a friendship going way longer than I should have. This all being said I had a full conversation with her. I told her that she had to respect certain boundaries such as my marriage and she could not come to me about other people's relationships and who she had a crush on. If they were in a relationship to begin with. I told her that once they're in a relationship they're off the market for me to even try and talk to you about. Cuz she would always ask me what should I do. What should I do? And I would be like there's nothing for you to do. They're in a relationship. You either wait to see what happens or you move on to somebody else, but you cannot interject yourself into somebody else's relationship and hopes that they'll see you and choose you instead. She did not agree with me and we chose to part our separate ways.

This world has being evolving about nothing more but money, power, careers, prestige...
I welcome a shift where people confront eachother with their behaviors.... some monsters
have spectacular abilities to remain under the social radar, maybe they will be screened out and
be socially marked and avoided. And yes they will get isolated but that is THEIR problem.

Kelly wasn't blasting anyone, she didn't name anyone's name. If she wanted to bring it up a year later as a storytime without naming names then why can't she? Joanna is the one blasting and outing herself by confirming she was that friend who got ghosted. No one would've suspected the mentioned girl in Kelly's story was Joanna unless they were close friends to them both. Joanna could've stayed quiet and we wouldn't know it was her. Have you seen the mentioned hoodie? It was a basic black hoodie with a Nike logo. She could've gotten her own and it was not that cute. For me, it's the fact that there is an allegedly deleted TikTok video floating around where she mentioned and talked about justifying why spend money to buy hoodies when you can steal your boyfriend's hoodies. Someone reposted her deleted TikTok video where she associates cute hoodies with the word boyfriend. Besides mounting the tv was an activity they did together as a trio so why didn't she get Kelly a sandwich as well? Why just thank him for something you all did together? She could've gotten her a sandwich too because it's normal for best friends/roommates to treat each other to food. It's not that hard to get an extra sandwich to make sure there was no misunderstanding whatsoever.
