    That sound never gets old. Ever try using large pieces of ice I freeze mine in solo cups throw about 4 or 5 of them in there then roll them off the sides (at least try to) allot less splashing and looks allot more like casting shot. Also that furnace is impressive! Look forward to checking out your videos, keep em coming!

    Awesome, I have poured over the back flat side of a graphite mold tilted slightly towards the water and ice. The end result is a little less cornflake and more very small shot. Cheers

    Awesome Vid! I have used swirling hot water & it makes cornflakes! Silver cornflake looking shot! If you use two crucibles one with a little hole in the bottom! Get them both red hot, hold the one with the hole in the bottom over the bucket & pour into it! It will come out the bottom & into the water! It will make real small shot! Peace!

    @925stacker 7 років тому

    Yo pit bullion what's up brother?!?!? Damn that's cool I make my Sterling shot like that to, well I call them flakes Sterling doesn't bead up like .999

    • @925stacker
      @925stacker 7 років тому

      Hey quick thing, I made some shot and if you put a large flat ice at an angle right on top of the water when you pour the silver it will bead up rolling down the ice into the water giving you the shot we normally buy. But you have to get the angle right if not it sticks to the ice. My Sterling comes out in flakes like that to. When I get the silver I am getting for my trades I will also be turning it into shot I'll try to make a vid so we can compare. Man it's great to see you are pouring dude , please don't think I am telling you what to do I just wanted to share how I do it buddy. Hope to see you in zekes chat today my friend. Mike can I give you a call tomorrow to see about the gold plating I want to do it to some of my pieces on the new line. Sorry for the long note.

    • @PitBullion
      @PitBullion  7 років тому

      925stacker I welcome the advice my friend! I was wondering about putting a block of ice in there. definitely comes out flakes lol. I do get alot of grain size shot at the bottom tho. I separate the big stuff into 1 bowl and the smaller into another. helps when weighing. The biggest pieces only weighed about a quarter oz which is fine for what I'm doing. Definitely give me a jingle man. Business line is 702-540-4390

    Works better if you melt it and let it drip over the ice instead of pouring. But still looks cool. Different look of the shot. That's more stringy...drip melt more like pellets. Great video tho.

    • @PitBullion

      REDRUM187SILVER We'll my friend, you see if I we're to put an ounce coin into my crucible and pour a 1 oz bar I wouldn't end up with an OZ when I was done. The casting grain allows you to measure the exact amount needed. This is Very useful to people pouring there own bars that want perfect weights
