Thanks man! I needed a good instructional on how to make shot properly.
That sound never gets old. Ever try using large pieces of ice I freeze mine in solo cups throw about 4 or 5 of them in there then roll them off the sides (at least try to) allot less splashing and looks allot more like casting shot. Also that furnace is impressive! Look forward to checking out your videos, keep em coming!
Out of all the pour videos I've seen on UA-cam over the years. That's the first time I've seen that done. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see what's next.
Thanks Joker! Glad it was interesting. I tried to make it as quick and to to the point as I could
Bull's eye!
I think i am going to melt down all of my silver bars just because i am bored.
Good thinking
😂😂😂😂
Today I got yours Pit bullion! Those are nice ! Especially, 2oz ingot is awesome! Because it was year-end order took such a long time but finally I recieved.
Also I got Vulcan bars, I appreciate storing at your site.
Love his silver- woody long bar too.
Excellent video brother. That was a very fun process to watch. Thumbs up buddy. Love the new poured bars!!
Awesome, I have poured over the back flat side of a graphite mold tilted slightly towards the water and ice. The end result is a little less cornflake and more very small shot. Cheers
Wow!!! Those are way cooler than a round!!!!
there's something very soothing about watching you pour into that ice water lol Awesome look my friend
Awesome Vid! I have used swirling hot water & it makes cornflakes! Silver cornflake looking shot! If you use two crucibles one with a little hole in the bottom! Get them both red hot, hold the one with the hole in the bottom over the bucket & pour into it! It will come out the bottom & into the water! It will make real small shot! Peace!
Didn't know that's the way it done. Cool to see it done and the product.
Very cool bud! That is some pretty nice shot lol...
Silver Slacker I try, I try :)

"Natural born killaz" is the intro music.. still my jam

Backyard Bullion Thanks BB
Pretty Cool...Thanks For The Lesson..
No prob thanks Rich!
Awesome, how would you make the small grain?
You know the small size grain you can see for sale, between 2mm-5mm wide.
Thank you the lesson.
Nathan4071 You Welcome
cool video pit!
Damn those were cool rounds
I definitely learned something and would love to see more of this stuff! I know our other buds in the community do videos on pouring and stuff but I have yet to start at square one, which is what I'm assuming this is. It's just a matter of time before I get bit by this bug lol.
Bluelightbandit Yup. it all starts here
Great video
wow was wondering a good way to do this sweet video
Gauged Silver Thanks. Glad I could help
Very cool! I've seen this before, but it was a big ass chunk of ice. This works very well with the smaller cubes :) Thanks for the awesome look my friend :)
Silver Vessel somebody suggested I do that. I might try that next
awesome pour lol thanks for sharing.
Alexander R De Voogt No pour lines lol

ottawasilver 77 Thanks for taking a look!
nice vid and lol at 1:52 idk what happened with the audio but it literally sounded like something dropped in the other room in my house haha
Very interesting and good to know thanks for sharing
Silver Addict 🖒
Going thru some older videos, I wondered how they made it. They use a shot tower to make shot for shotgun shells. I didn't think it was as practical for silver shot tho.
very cool...does it produce cleaner pours
that was fun to watch
SunsetBay Bonnie Thanks Bon Bon!
cool!
Thanks for sharing
NewEnglandFish Appreciate you taking a look
nice shoes. congrats on the soon to be viral video bud. I'm gonna tell all my friends too so expect another 2-3 views 😁
Golden Arms I'm goin back to the skater shoes. I'm sick of J's. Nice! I better monetize now lol
Pit Bullion that's because they pump em out so fast it's stupid. Some of the Jordan's they make nowadays are retarded. I'll stick with my 4's 6's 7's and if I can get my hands on them 11's. 31's aren't too bad I suppose.
5's the right color way are cool too, Metallic and wolf grey
If you want to make into a more refined shot you could always tumble it with steel bearings.
well done 👍🏻 pit 👨🏼🍳🎂chef
Will this work with 925 and what happens if you do or don't use flux while doing it with 925?
HI, Im not a metal guy But I am wondering why you would want to make silver shot? Wouldn't be worth more in a coin or square?
So far, I'm remiss about pouring my own bars yet, my garage insurance policy is a bit vague on bullion pouring.
I'm with you there! 🤣🤣👏
You have insurance. 🙄
very cool.
Apprentice of gilligan Thanks My Man. Sorry to hear Bout your mentor
Thanks for sharing, can you make a pouring video?
Cool
where did you get that crucible?
Will this method work for taking 10k scrap and making 10k casting grain?
If i am using 9.25 silver how will I know what it is after melting it ?
Thanks a lot, now I can't get Joan Jett outa my head;-) "Hit me with your best shot"
Lava away (instead of fire).
Is there a reason why you work with shot rather than cutting out the middle man by turning it into shot? What I mean is, why not just melt it and go from there...unless you want to work with smaller amounts.
I started out doing that and then the odd weights started bothering me. I wanted exact weights so this became necessary
Can silverware Be made into 99% silver using the same thing that you did sorry for My bad english
Yo pit bullion what's up brother?!?!? Damn that's cool I make my Sterling shot like that to, well I call them flakes Sterling doesn't bead up like .999
Hey quick thing, I made some shot and if you put a large flat ice at an angle right on top of the water when you pour the silver it will bead up rolling down the ice into the water giving you the shot we normally buy. But you have to get the angle right if not it sticks to the ice. My Sterling comes out in flakes like that to. When I get the silver I am getting for my trades I will also be turning it into shot I'll try to make a vid so we can compare. Man it's great to see you are pouring dude , please don't think I am telling you what to do I just wanted to share how I do it buddy. Hope to see you in zekes chat today my friend. Mike can I give you a call tomorrow to see about the gold plating I want to do it to some of my pieces on the new line. Sorry for the long note.
925stacker I welcome the advice my friend! I was wondering about putting a block of ice in there. definitely comes out flakes lol. I do get alot of grain size shot at the bottom tho. I separate the big stuff into 1 bowl and the smaller into another. helps when weighing. The biggest pieces only weighed about a quarter oz which is fine for what I'm doing. Definitely give me a jingle man. Business line is 702-540-4390
Awesome brother! We will definitely be talking about that.
I found when I make my shot if you want it different sizes put it closer or farther away from the water and you'll get all different sizes it's all about distance in my experience anyways LOL very cool video though thanks for making it and sharing it.
Matthew Smallwood Thanks for the input. I will experiment with that next time.
💪💪💪💪
well it was not the casting grain i was thinking of.. however im pleasantly surprised by the outcome and i actually like them like that. I imagine it looking more like this in the mines lol i know its not tho
cool and in interesting
Coin hunter Thanks for watching
Can you melt sterling silver? I have a lot of old/broken jewelry.
OhSugar Yeah
Why make shot before casting other objects? I'm new to this
What is the purpose of silver shot?
Works better if you melt it and let it drip over the ice instead of pouring. But still looks cool. Different look of the shot. That's more stringy...drip melt more like pellets. Great video tho.
Any difference in quality of result if using only water without ice?
No, this was a long time ago when I first started haha
Your so Boss man! Love it! Love it all! Nicely presented!
MrZeke :) Thanks Zeke! Enjoyed our chat the other day
Always brother, always! Great to chat with ya my man! Thinking about doing a live chat later? Whatcha think?
MrZeke Let's do it!
what kind of poured silver is that on the right with the athena looking woman at 0:14
Goat Gaming That was something I'm gonna have out in the near future.
What is the water name ??
Since silver is Ag and I was in the Navy I thought of a name for UA-cam that used Ag.
Apprentice of gilligan I like it!
I have artesian water with lots of goodies in it. Do i need to clean the shot ?
Dean Lorman don't need to clean it but bake it after your done for 30 mins or so.
I ended up using OXY/ACC to make my shot from kilo bars. The process gave a bunch of blackish smoke ?
Hmmmm... I don't know.. I throw mine in the electric furnace and my shot comes out clean
Done !
Silver powder or not pl tel me
Will this work for Aluminium?
Yes lol
What is the point in making the shot if you're going to pour with it later. Why not use the rounds and bars that you used to make the shot?
REDRUM187SILVER We'll my friend, you see if I we're to put an ounce coin into my crucible and pour a 1 oz bar I wouldn't end up with an OZ when I was done. The casting grain allows you to measure the exact amount needed. This is Very useful to people pouring there own bars that want perfect weights
@@PitBullion Yeah like 1oz's into 100g bars 😁
Can we do the same with gold bar ?
Magicine Chin wouldn't see why not
How do you know it is .999 fine silver?
He melted .999 silver bullion
I thought the silver shot will be in little ball size
What is bucket made of😳😳😳😳
Not sure why you'd wanna turn pre weighed pre measured and marked silver into shot? Just seems harder to know purity and weight
Simple. If you melt a 1 oz Round down and pour a bar in most cases you won't end up with a full oz after your done
And thats helpful/useful how?
yes, I don't know why he is doing this with his silver
In all honesty, I thought he was going to make a shot glass. 😁
I think I will make a silver cup.
i like how that looks the way it is lol but iam strange anyway 😂
Dean Chute Dean Chute you strange? Never!
I still want to see you do something so out of your norm that i know people will love it cause they love and respect the Don 😀
Dean Chute Dean Chute Alot of competition out there today. It's a rough time to be a pourer lol
Your one of the best i seen the video bio silver torch did of you wow i had no idea how it all started for you . Your amazing total respect for you my friend . And you got me thinking of buying silver again and not just gold
Dean Chute Dean Chute Yeah man its been a rough road with Pit Bullion. But all those bumps in the road taught me alot. I appreciate the words man. Just what I needed to get my ass out there pouring today 👍
Oh my those Scottsdale's the Sunshine I can just hear the screams as they die in that furnace. Terrible poor lion.
SalivateSilver I made that Lion lol. There will be more of them later
Ahh okay, I was so nice I felt bad.
Good for making buck shot to kill were wolves.
Don't use a plastic container! I learn't that the hard way over my workshop floor!
These are cornflakes, not really shot
ma eye's is bad and i bet dat siber real preaty like so could ya send's it ta me ta look's at
Poured too fast. Shot could be much better.
A good metal garbage can would work better no?
Dont look like shot I've ever seen
Awesome. We tried that and poured it too quick and it literally exploded. lol
SalivateMetal lol. I had that happen to me the other day. I poured into a cold mold and Boom!
Ours happened when we poured it in a bucket of cold water. lol
Whats the point of the shot? Doesn't matter what you start with since its being melted right? School me & then go get some non elastic ankle sweats, lmao!
SilverHustlin13 If you want to pour perfect weights it's a must and I like my elastic sweats lol
Pit Bullion OK that makes since, it make your pours "cleaner" as well. Sweats are chill
Yes Sir!
That looks like shit
Again more misleading videos about making shot.. annoying! this isnt shot its sort of mossy silver.
