One book I would also recommend is 'An introduction to crime scene photography' by Edward Robinson as it goes into a lot of detail about forensic photography. It was recommended to me by a university and has been very helpful to me.
excited that forensic friday is back! I start forensic archaeology next semester, and though a variation on theme, your videos always make me excited for it! Also really lovely to see how genuinely interested you are with what you're studying, its pretty great xx
I can't think of an original way to say this but thank you (so much?) for making this series, damn I feel so lucky to have found your channel all that Time ago. Also you seem to have some seriously great teaching abilities! Take care etc !
I love this!! I did a module on forensics in my undergrad and we did some crime photography so this is so cool to revisit! The shots you took of the mock crime scene were so rad!!
I want to know what schools you might recommend for this profession? I've been interested In being a forensic photographer for a while and wanting to add that to mass media degree.
I'm currently considering becoming a forensics photographer. What are some tips you recommend on how to get started in the field, and which majors or minors might you recommend?
How is the integrity of the photographic evidence protected? i.e., is there a way to catalogue the photos so that they can't be deleted, tampered with, re-ordered etc. Are they shot on film, for instance, to avoid deleting? Basically, what I want to know is, how do other people know the photographer hasn't messed with the images in any way, accidentally or otherwise. Is it just the list?
Hello Angela, I am attending an assesment day for an entry level position. I have lots of interest in both photography, forensics and generally wanting to make a difference. Do you have any advice to take on-board for the assessment day? What to expect? What they are looking for? Any help appreciated, I'd love to be a CSI 😊
